I'm curious to know how many of us here have actually reported Ocwen and it's practices to our State Attorney General offices? How about in Los Angeles and Florida? I filed mine. Where I live and from what I can tell our Attorney General won't take crap from anyone or any corporation. Please respond. I will try to leave my email address here but I think it may be gone when this is posted. ashlynmygirls@hotmail.com.
It's deceptive business practice when you are sent many different balances owed and nothing to back it up. When requested the consumer has the right to receive any and all written fees charged. Ocwen will not do this. (Fair Debt Collection Act) Not returning phone calls is wrong plain and simple and then to turn and deny we ever called? Please respond to my question above. I would love to know how many have ACTUALLY filed complaints with a State Attorney General. Has anyone went public such as television investigative reporters contacting and investigating them? Thanks and good luck all.

Client in foreclosure

I know just how Ocwen bank handles their customers. I have a client that is in foreclosure and we've been trying for weeks to actually get a "live" person on the phone. We get nothing but recordings. I really don't think anyone works at the office in Orlando. And when we do get an actual person on the phone, we either get the phone slammed down and I just don't think Ocwen treats their customers right at all. Here my client is trying to come up with a soluation to his situation and apparently Ocwen could care less that he is trying to resolve the issue. There are actual people out there in foreclosure who want to solve their issue, rather it be to sell their property to a buyer, put the late payments in foreberance, or some other solution. No one wants a foreclosure on their record and I think Ocwen thinks by ignoring the customer's plea to solve the issue, that the customer isn't going to care. They do.

All Will Be Included !!

We most definately will keep everyone notified. It is my understanding that the way this works is they take a certain amount @ first. Then when it is certified others are allowed to come on.
Right now we are just in the talking phase. It will move a little faster due to the paperwork is all together from the last suit. As you have probably seen the Legal System moves slow. I know I have found that out by my dealings with Ocwen. I have never had to deal with these types of situations before.
Never had any problems until they came into the picture. Meanwhile we can all be notifying people in our areas as I said in other Report and all come together after its certified. If certified will be able to advertise our suit. I beleive you have my E-mail.
Feel free to give it to others. I have not posted mine on her because new rules of this site asks us not to & I do not want Ocwen getting it. They already have my cell number & think they are real smart harassing me on it. I know it is hard but try to be patient. All will be included & we are working fast & as hard as we can.

Class Action Suit-let's get it together

I am not sure how many other Iowan's have been targeted and have become victim to OCWEN but I know I have fallen a victim to them. I did contact our Attorney General who handed it over to the Iowa Banking Commission to investigate, and they have sent them a letter, with no response so far. I, and some others from other states that are emailing me, are wanting to get involved in a class action suit, but don't know where to begin. Please include us and help us!!

WSMV Channel 4 Consumer Specialist covered the Nashville suit against them that was filed last yr. That is how we became intouch with other Victims in our area.
The ClassAction was not certified but we are regrouping with a firm that specializes in these types of cases.
If you could get News Coverage in your area it will probably assist in gathering your own group. Also go to the Court House &look up their foreclosures, you willthen be able to find others.
If they are out of their home will have to get forwarding addresses. It will take extra time but it worked for us.
I have a tape of the segment & Also a tape of myself when I was interveiwed @ The Predatory Lending Summit Held in Nashville.
Iwill be happy to send you copies to assist you. Ive noticed that there are complaints from many states. Maybe if we form numerous groups we can make a connection.
Good Luck to all. Remember there is STRENGTH in numbers.
