purchased a digital camera with "replacement warranty." my daughter dropped it and the door to batteries will not close anymore. returned to store-was instructed to call 1-800 number. Called immediately and was told my replacement warranty does not begin until 3/8/2009 when my manufacturer's labor warranty expires. I paid for the warranty and Office Max did not deliver-it's not a replacement warranty as they advertise.

It is a replacement warranty, just as advertised

AUTHOR: Brent - (U.S.A.)

"I paid for the warranty and Office Max did not deliver-it's not a replacement warranty as they advertise."

The "Max Assurance" you purchased is an extension ontop of the manufacturer's warranty. The accidental damage and replacement coverage of the warranty, does not begin until the manufacturer's warranty ends. So just like advertised, it is a replacement warranty. Your complaint is the timing, not that "it's not a replacement warranty as they advertise."
