I'm taking the time to tell my story, in the hopes it will help others. I signed up with the Online auction academy in early April. When I called, a guy named Mike assured me that my credit card wouldn't be processed until I got the package and I had time to look at the guarantee. Everything starts happening on Tuesday, he said.
Well, I talked to my sister about this venture, and she told me to go to this website, Rip-0ff Reports. Wish I had known about it before!! Of course, I was panicked when I started reading about other peoples encounters with OAA. This was a Saturday night.
The next a.m. I called my credit card co. and they said the transaction was pending. I told them I wanted to cancel it, they lied to me, didn't want the material, ect. No good, they had to let it go through, and then I could dispute it. I spent at least most of the next week on the phone, and e-mails to this co.
I was told I would get a refund, when they received the package back. Okay, I asked if he Craig Meyer would sign for it if I sent it certified mail. The next e-mail I got from him stated, You Have to open the box and sign the guarantee. HAhaha I again called the disputes dept. of my credit co. They advised me not to open the box and not to sign anything. To send it back certified Delivery.
I e-mailed Craig, I already sent it and told him what my credit card co. said. Then I get an e-mail stating, that is the best process for you to get a refund!! SO, If you havent opened it DON'T!!Send it back certified mail, and don't sign their worthless guarantee. That's what they wanted me to do, then I would have been stuck for almost 4 Grand.
What a dummy I was...NEVER AGAIN,. I'm wondering if you can trust anyone on the internet? At least they did send the credit- I think they knew I was onto them. Good luck to those who Did sign their guarantee.

This morning, I got my refund. from OAA
AUTHOR: Faye - (U.S.A.)

I sent all of OAA's stuff back last week with a letter pointing out each and every one of their points in the program that I had followed. I also kept track of classes that I'd received bad passwords for or could not get in the class because it simply didn't take place.
I sent a copy of my letter to the Dept. of Consumer affairs in Reno and the Attorney General in Carson City, and clearly marked on my letter to OAA that I was sending copies to both of the above.
This morning, I got my refund. They didn't question it so I guess the lesson here is to make sure you have records of everything you did to follow the program and make sure you copy the Dept. of Consumer Affairs in Reno and the Nevada Attorney General's office.
I don't know if OAA has wised up or if they just didn't want to go through the hassle of answering the complaints but I did get my refund.

Clearly Stated 30 Money back Guarantee

I love the way Lynn (who is apparently an employee of Online Auction Academy) makes it sound like none of us followed the program. Her condescending remark of "No one wants to take responsibility for their actions" is pretty amusing considering that Online Auction Academy breeches their own contract almost from day one. Did any of you get that "one on one coaching" you thought you were going to get?
I got a big whoping 10 minutes on the phone with my coach and all he said was "what are you working on". No guidence. No direction. Nothing. Not to mention the "Live" classes I registered for and couldn't get in because OAA gave me the wrong password of better yet, just didn't hold the class and didn't bother to notify anyone.
I hate to tell you this Lynn but all of us ARE taking responsibility for our actions. I just with OAA would take responsibility for theirs. This company is a joke. The training material is a joke and the training is non-existant.

Simple My a*s, deliberately sabotages you druing your initial 30 days

The OAA deliberately sabotages you druing your initial 30 days so that you cannot complete the requirements. They send you incorrect passwords to log in to live classes so you cannot complete that requirement. They tell you it is ok to miss a call you can just make it up. Then they deny a refund. You are totally misleaded by your Coach during your trial period. The program is sold to you based on the fact that a refund can be obtained at any time. They will not take phone calls, will not return emails answering your questions and concerns about a refund. They are on a major PR tour right now trying to save their reputation. Too late OAA.

Clearly stated 30 day guarantee

Online Auction Academy has a clearly stated guarantee. Anyone who has signed up with our company has heard the requirements by Craig during the initial presentation and by the enrollment department before they voluntarily gave us their credit card information. They even sign the 30 day guarantee. There is no small print. Here's what they agree to do:
1. Load the software on their computer.
2. Attend one live class per week for the first four weeks.
3. Make one call to their coach on a toll free number once per week for the first four weeks.
4. Launch 5 auctions per week for the first four weeks.
Real tough, huh?
The people who whine about their experience should look deeply into themselves. What did they hear that they were hoping to hear? (Get rich with no work?). Why did they NOT do their due diligence BEFORE giving out their credit card number. And, lastly, why did they FAIL at meeting these simple requirements for a refund?
What has happened in this country to people taking responsibility for their own actions? McDonalds gets sued because their coffee is too hot and people whine and want their money back when they fail at 4 easy steps. Time to step up to the plate folks!

Help Please

Hello,
I saw your post on and wanted to ask you a favor. I signed up for Online Auction Academy, spent $3997.00 and found out within 2 weeks that what was advertised and promised was not going to happen.
I notified them that I wanted to cancell and since I was within my 30 day money back guarantee period I expected no problems........Well now they just offer excuses.
I plan to file complaints with the BBB and the attorney general and wonder if you could provide a statement of your experience with Online Auction Academy, so that I may include your statement with mine to back up my complaint.
Thank you so much for your time and will be awaiting your reply. [Place your comments below and be sure to include your FULL contact information so Rip-off Report can contact you.]
Thank you,
Brenda McCoy
