I too was sucked into this deceptive trap. I enrolled in their free month trial protege program. I called my coach (Ben) three weeks into my program and told him I had to quit. I was having too much difficulty putting an auction on Ebay. I had never done it before, I told them I was a complete novice at this stuff and they reassured me that it was ok. The first couple of weeks I put in alot of hours, way more than what they said it would take, trying to get a handle on this. But after a couple weeks feeling stressed and realizing that this is not for me I wanted to cancel. Come to find out today which is the end of my trial, Michelle emailed me saying that I will not receive any refund.

I have spent all day trying to talk to someone down there but like I read on the other complaints on this website, I am experiencing the same cold shoulder. They won't even let me speak to anybody. I emailed Michelle, Sterling Brown asking them to call me but they will not. This is so unfair. I cannot afford paying this $3997.00 on my credit card. I came across this site and see that there are other people having the same problem. I am just starting to pursue this today. I have contacted a tv station. I will be writing the Better Business Bureu, and who ever else I have to contact to get my money back. I do not want to be a participant in their program. I Want out! I am only posting this in this website to see what kind of help an can acquire from it.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

Pressure Your Credit Card Company to Remove this Charge.

AUTHOR: Daniel - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 23, 2004

Hello Gail,

I too have filed with the BBB and Attorney General office in Nevada with unsatisifactory results. This is still a very good idea because you have established a record of complaint that will stay on file. Always mention the company's owner MARK ISRAEL in your disputes.

I did have to call my credit card company three different times and dispute the charges. Only after I faxed them the results of the BBB complaint and my letter from the Attorney General office was this charged removed from my card.

No credit card company will become involved with shady practices of companies such as THE ONLINE AUCTION ACADEMY if people continue to complain. It is in their best interest to protect their customers especially at the mention you are willing to take this dispute to court.

THIS ACTION WORKED FOR ME! However, I will continue to help others until OAA drops their 100% Money Back Guarentee or (EVEN BETTER) this company is forced to close thier doors.

Please let me know if you had any success contacting the news or print media.

Hello,
I saw your post on and wanted to ask you a favor. I signed up for Online Auction Academy, spent $3997.00 and found out within 2 weeks that what was advertised and promised was not going to happen.

I notified them that I wanted to cancell and since I was within my 30 day money back guarantee period I expected no problems........Well now they just offer excuses.

I plan to file complaints with the BBB and the attorney general and wonder if you could provide a statement of your experience with Online Auction Academy, so that I may include your statement with mine to back up my complaint.
Thank you so much for your time and will be awaiting your reply.
Thank you,
