I have had pretty good experience with this company.  I have done over 240 surveys with them.  Over 200+ I did not get credit for because I did not complete them or quilfy for them.  However 2 of those surveys I did fully and successfully complete, but did not get the proper credit for doing the survey.

So I am here today for the 2nd time to report that they have refused to pay out for  survey number 68097395 for $3.50 which I fully and successfully completed.  I have contacted them over 3 times on this matter by email.  The first time was in July and second time was beginning of September. Both times I have gotten this automated response :

Hello!
Thank you for contacting us about this concern.  Although this survey is closed, we have yet to award points to the panelist that have completed it.  As we work with many different companies, sometimes re-directing errors or other errors may occur.  When the survey is closed we will receive a list from the company listing all the panelists who have completed this particular survey.  Once we verify you are on the list, your points will be credited to your account. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks after the survey is closed for the problem to be fixed.
If you have any further questions please let us know.

Thanks,
Daisy

Finally I contacted them a couple days ago about this issue.  They told me that the company is claiming that I did not complete this.  I would like the company to compensate me for the time I spent in doing this survey I successfully completed.  I am asssuming that some error occurred at the end, that did not register properly?  But I don't know?  They ask for my honest opinions in the surveys I take, I ask for honest compensation from the company.

Opinion Outpost- NOT Scam

AUTHOR: Amber - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 01, 2011

I have been taking surveys from Opinion Outpost [and other companies] for years. I have always been paid for every survey I have taken through them. I have been paid 3 times for a total of $90.
One thing you can do to ensure that you are credited for each survey you complete is to take a screenshot of the "thank you/completion page" and attach it to the email that invited you to the survey. I usually mail this to myself, so I have the original invite with the screenshot attached. That way if there is a discrepancy, you have proof.
There have been two times where there was a discrepancy. Both times they eventually credited my account the money, even though the company the survey was for did not accept that I completed the survey.
Proof of your work is essential. Always.
Also, to those who complain of getting survey after survey that they don't qualify for. Have you completed all of your "profile surveys"? Do you keep them up to date? These help to ensure that the surveys sent you are ones that you are more likely to qualify for.

Punishment for reporting them!

AUTHOR: Tracy - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, November 12, 2010

Well after finally getting compensated, for a survey that I fully and successfully completed, at the beginning of October I thought all was settled and pass.  Well they have stop sending me surveys since this issue was resolved.  So I guess this is there way of punishing me for reporting them to the BBB and ripoffreport for not paying me for a survey I successfully completed!  The only good thing about this company is that they do pay well, unless you are forced to report them for not paying, but there customer service is completly horrible!

Opinion Outpost finally paid up

AUTHOR: Tracy - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, October 09, 2010

After over approx. 8 emails and filing with the BBB, ripoffreport.com and making a post about this on Survey police forums and taking over 8 weeks to get credit for the $3.50 survey, they have finality paid. Plus they also paid me the additional $3.50 for the trouble and time spent trying to get the money that they owed me.

Like I said before in my original post, over all they are a pretty good company and I do like doing surveys with them.  just wish that they didn't force me into a corner and have to file like this!
