I tried out the optimal experience in November and I gave them my information fro shipping. I had no idea they were going to take that information and continue to charge me for the next 6 months. Then when I tried to contact them its automated until u get someone who doesnt speak english and to tell me theres nothing they can do for u all sales are final. They never told me all sales were final when I signed up. I am out of work n have been trying for the last 6 months to get this matter rectified and they are refusing to do anything to help me so after I send this to you i am contacting the better business bureau and also my bank. THis is nonsense that ppl who are suppose to offer such a good product are indeed ripping people off and dont care about who they hurt .An to think they are based in the USA so they evidently dont care about americans at all jsut about lining their pockets.

You missed....

Sorry to say this but you must have missed the part where you were signing up for a trial membership when you were ordering the trial size. It is VERY COMMON since the American COnsumer glosses over the little things like READING!!! You can sit there and whine all you like, but it will NOT change the FACT that you did not contact them and cancel within the 14 day cancellation window that was given to you. Up to recently consumers DID have some relief in a situation like this, but unfortunatly since the consumer really doesnt read ANYTHING except what they WANT to see, they NO LONGER give back a refund OR allow you to cancel your CONTRACT. They no longer "take pity" on the consumer. NOW they just say no and when you dont pay they send you to collections and someone buys the debt and makes it even MORE money that you owe. THAT is what the REAL issue is. THEY are only following WHAT YOU AGREED TO and nothing more. The BBB is USELESS!!! They have NO TEETH and NO POWER to do ANYTHING. If that business PAYS the BBB of their state then they will have an A+ rateing NO MATTER HOW MANY COMPLAINTS THEY GET!!! You can cancel your card, but they will send it to collections BECAUSE YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT.
Now I KNOW you are going to sit there and say "I didnt sign any contract". But you DID. You did it when you agreed to the T&C of the TRIAL purchase. When you agreed to the T&C of the offer, you also agreed that you were signing up for a trial membership as well. Had you read the rest of the information presented to you INSTEAD of just clicking that little box that says you have read and agree to the T&C of the offer. THIS SITUATION is because you did not cancel that trial membership WITHIN the 14days they allow.
This situation is of your own doing. While its unfair that you have to continue paying on this while being unemployed, you DID agree to this. Its NO DIFFERENT then signing a cellphone contract. In all my years of dealing with cellphone I can count on 1 hand how many time a consumer has sat down and ACTUALLY read what they were signing. Its so common anymore that NO ONE is buying it. If YOU as the consumer are going to agree to something, its in your best interest to read what you are getting yourself into.
And just to stop you before you start....Nope dont work for them, dont use their product, dont know anyone that works for them. I am just a consumer like you who has had to deal with a similar situation.
