Orbit leasing Car city Scam Wyoming mi Michigan Internet
*Consumer Comment: Are you joking?
They do not explain the terms of service. Are very manipulative. They were not forthcoming that this is a lease. I’ve paid 2226 dollars in payments in the last 6 months and only $400 went towards actual principle.

The name of the company is Orbit Leasing. The website is the same as the name of the company. I clicked on the website that you posted and the word 'leasing' is all over the front page in huge font. How did you read your contract and not understand that it was a lease?. And, to shock you further, you don't own the car at the end of the lease period, you have to return it per the instructions in your lease. Anyone knows that a lease doesn't result in ownership unless you choose to buy out the vehicle.
I don't even like auto dealerships but this one is a no brainer - you have now decided you don't want a lease so you claim you were never "notified" that it was a lease. The lease you signed is notification. Did you sign it without reading it? You are supposed to read it first. Anything the sales rep says about the lease contract isn't to be taken seriously anyway because a verbal summary may or may not reflect what is actually in the lease. Go back and read your lease now. There are other surprises in there if you haven't read it. If you don't understand it, find an attorney to clarify it for you.
In order to prevent future surprises on future purchases, don't sign anything without reading and understanding the paperwork entirely before you sign. If you don't understand it, bring it to an attorney not affliated with the business that is putting together the paperwork before you consider signing it. There is no shame in having an attorney review it first. In fact, it is the smart thing to do.
