Orchard Bank has - without my consent - run a credit check on me for nearly every month for the past two years!!
Who do they think they are? I NEVER authorized and credit checks or applied for any credit with them!!
I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

I believe the first step to stop these unwarranted checks on your credit is to Opt Out with all 4 CRAs. Companies you already do business with can still hit your report, but this stops the CRAs from giving out information to those that might want to offer you pre-approved offers, etc..
This is how you Opt Out: If you call one, you are opting-out with all 3. I am not sure, but I believe you are opting out with the 4th one.....the name escapes me at the moment.

Perhaps the reason they are checking your Credit, as they do with Millions of Americans is because they would like to offer you a Line of Credit. These "Soft" Inquiries are permitted by law, and I don't see a problem unless they were pulling "Hard" Inquiries on you.
