Ok, this is my story:
My husband and I fell for this $69.99 Las Vegas getaway......we scheduled it for November, we were going to get married there at that time. In October we had a chance to go to Tennessee and decided to get married there instead......I called "Pacific Monarch Resorts" 11 days before our arrival date, and cancelled, the guy was so nice, and told me to be sure to reschedule within 6 months......today is Feb 6th, 2002.....I called to schedule our reservation for May, only to be transferred about 4 times before some woman told me flat out that they called us 2 days before our original arrival date and that the person they contacted told them we'd be there. Ok, my husband and I live alone, we have dogs and cats, but they don't usually answer my husbands "Cell" phone. That is the phone number we used for this nightmare. They tell us that because this mystery person confirmed our reservations that we no longer could use our confirmation letter to get our accomdations that we paid for in advance.
The moral of the story.......You get what you paid for, except when dealing with this company, you actually get less....Nothing!
Thank you for listening!

Hey Tyrone, take a look at your story. Is it possible it's your wife??? How does she keep finding people and companies that you say are bad. If you are so disturbed by it, tell her to get out of the industry. I work For Pacific Monarch and they are the most stringent company I have ever seen (almost too stringent). They follow every law and rukle to a T. i enjoyu working for them.

I have had the honor and privalege of watching my wife/co-defendants bring a class-action suit against this firm totalling multiple 8-digits. I feel it is not over yet as most of the employees have now left this firm and continue elsewhere as telemarketers mis-representing other resort/timeshare firms. How they can tell employees to issue outlandish falsehoods is a mystery to me. What is more of a twist to this is another of my wifes former employers is now implicated in similar practices of take the money and run. Seems that U.S. Resorts,Inc. is engaged in "Bad" business practices and needs investigated for mis-representing Fairfield Resorts, Inc. Why must people invest in scamming one another. Is this American? Why deceive others out of money?
