PAUL ROGERS KENNEDY.. I don't understand how these firms have not been shut down yet. We lost our dispute with the credit card company. They have done nothing since November to help me get my money back that they promised. But they charged me $9000 for that lesson. The credit card company will not give me my money back they say they can't go after them. So we wrote to the Florida BAR. But nobody seems to care that these companies call you Time Share Task Force, Federal Fee Recovery; Century Marketing Group, Center for Legal Justice (call me weekly).....I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, I am over 65, so that would be taking advantage of the elderly, but none of that seems to matter. When I disputed the charge I found out that Paul Rogers Kennedy was involved...he answered the chargeback rebuttal. I have not signed a retainer with a law firm and how can a Florida Attorney represent a consumer in another state, I live in Minnesota? There are other attorneys doing the same thing, Attorney Robert B. Cook in Jupiter, Florida. I have been duped by all of them. This has been an expensive lesson. But why are they still allowed to continue to rip-off people.
The FTC clearly states that you can not charge an upfront fee for recovery services. So how are the telemarketing and Attorneys getting around this? I would think the Bar wold be more interested in how the Telemarketing Firms are sharing fees with the attorneys in all this. I have been reading that Attorneys cannot share fees.
Any other information that would help me get my money back from Paul Rogers Kennedy would be appreciated.
