Pearl Vision ripp off!.lied to me.tried to add services without asking Appleton Wisconsin

my insurance company said to go to pearl vision after my dog ate my glasses. my insurances carrys a co-pay of $10 for an exam and $20 for the glasses.i have a valid presciption from a nother vision center that they refused to acept. i made an apt. gave them all the insurance info when i came to my apt. they tried adding things such as a retna scan without my consent and argued the service (an additional $40 charge by the way) was ordered by the doctor was necessary.i said no and they continued with the exam. after it was done before they would let me even look at glasses they call me to the desk for payment for the exam. i expected to pay the $10 co-pay and the lady says to me sorry but we dont have a pearl doctor so he isint covered by your insurance but we will give you $5.off you service.and i must pay $55. right now. i explaned to her that the insurance company said to come here she had all my info and could have said somthing to me before the exam and i do not have $55. she threatned to call the police and yelled at me embaressing me in front of everyone. and i walked out they refused to even give me a copy of the presciption or let me get a set of loaner glasses untill the exam is paid.i am driving now without glasses and i litterly cannot see. and they know that the lady said she would call dmv and get my license yanked if i dont pay the bill today. i talked to the insurance company after this who said pearl vision needs to submit a form for payment but they are refusing to do so they want cash. they just don't care about the customer!. they only want money!. they had my insurance info for two hours. they had plenty of time to know if they wherent going to take it!. beware of pearl vision! they are lying thieving scumbags
