Pearl Vision ripoff---not consumer friendly Saginaw Michigan

Be careful as to what you are told by this company's representatives---especially when purchasing a service contract.

I have experienced that it is not the employees, but a hypocritical mangement policy to change conditions at any time at the detriment of the customer and in favor of the company.

Six months ago, I purchased glasses and said I did not want any protection glazes because they scratch too easily. I was told that with the new technology, scratches do not now happened and unfortunately allowed the store to add this product to my glasses and I purchased a service contract.

Today, I took my glasses in to have a scratch repaired. My options were: 'We no longer fix this problem at our store and we will have to send your glasses away for about two weeks.' If you can not see without them, then we can order you new lenses and frames to tide you until your glasses come back. At that time, we will remove your lenses and return the frame to us---Cost, another $130.00.

The cost of the repaired lense will require two lenses to be made which will be a cost of 90% of retail which was now twice the amount I paid for the original pair of lenses.

At first, I was expected to leave my glasses, pay the 10% down and then wait two weeks. Their story changed when I told them that, "O'K, but when the police ticket me for not wearing my glasses, My attorney will contact you."

Bottom line, My wife and I just spent over $1400.00 for glasses and I just put down another $43.00---still wearing the same glasses, and will be expected to bring my damaged glasses in, so the new prescripts can be put into my frame---there was no concern whatsoever for vison health, safety and welfare of the customer. Pearle Vision, was myopic on getting money from the customer.

Pearle Vision sounds and behaves like a business ready to go under.. BEWARE!!!!
