Petco Bad food, kills pets, infection San Bruno, California

Writing this because Petco instead of doing what they should do and take responsability instead pulled the old put the customer on hold and never came back, and because of this board of health has been contacted and due to situation will be involving themselves as well.

On April  9th at 4:30pm live crickets were purchased to feed collection of firebelly toads that have been raised for several years. After feeding the Firebelly toads, it was noticed 12 hours later that all of them had died. Had it been just one or two would have brushed it off as possible age, but it was every single toad and same exact symptoms. When contacting both the store, and corporate, it turns out its a known issue and their way of dealing with it, is to not deal with it at all and put you on hold and never come back. This was with Ed, one of the San Bruno managers and corporate who refused toidentify themselves after calling back. Do not trust the company.
