Peter Francis Geraci Their miscommunication problems caused a repossession notice on vehicle..... joliet, Illinois

My husband and I filed ch. 13 with peter francis....mistake!!! In august last year we called to have our ch. 13 dismissed. We were told that it would be dismissed and creditors would be notified. In Oct. I received a letter from our vehicle loan holder saying we were past due $55. So we paid the $55 and assumed we would start being billed again.  we then received a call from the loan company saying they hadnt received our ch. 13 dismissal papers so until we did they couldnt bill us. First off it was the loan company who never told us that WERE actually billing us and that by jan. we would owe $2000 in behind payments. But they at least have a reason....it was in ch. 13 so legally they shouldnt speak to us about the account..... As of today 1/19/2012 we spoke to yet ANOTHER 2 people with peter francis and were finally enlightened to the fact that they NEVER FILED THE DISMISSAL!! So basically all this back and forth with the loan company over the last 6MONTHS has been because the person we were dealing with when we filed for the dismissal never did his job!! And best of all....suddenly the paper that my husband signed to ok the dismissal is "not in the file".... are you kidding me!!! THIS IS PEOPLES LIVES YOUR DEALING WITH!!! I highly recommend you rethink using this law office if your considering it. Get an actual lawyer...one you know by name who is going to be the ONLY one dealing with your case....not a "law office" where everyone has no idea whats going on....and b.s's their way through conversations on the phone just to try to appease you for the moment when they have no idea what theyre talking about!!!
