Pharmabayb is a con-artitst phone scam Nationwide

Last night I recieved a call from a man informing me that medicare part d, changes were going to effect low income seniors such as myself. I am aware that there will be changes inmedicare part d, but not sure what they would be. He went on to ask me if i was indeed myself, told me my birthdate, and my address. Having made himself familiar he told me of a one time offer to buy into a plan that would cost $389.00, once and cover any unpaid prescription expenses, including donut holes.

He was very patient as i struggled with his accent, in fact as the conversation continued his english seemed to have improved to the point where i not only understood him perfectly, he was quite conversant about my risk, and how unfair it was that people such as myself were being targeted by the very program we had paid into all our lives. This is where the artistry came into it, he had somehow taught me to listen only to him, my inner voice was screaming hang up now. It was in this state of mind that I opened my checkbook and did what i tell my kids not to do, gave him my full checking information.

I was sure I'd made a mistake as soon as the conversation had ended. indeed the internet showed no such company even existed. There were several entries that mirrored my own. Today I went to two pharmacies and asked if they had ever heard of pharmabay, no such name occured in their data base in any capacity.

I will be closing that account monday morning. They will complicate my life/ having to move my ssi deposit, ask the landlord to hold the rent til i can send her a money order. BUT THEY WON'T GET A DIME FROM ME.
