Pioneer Financial Services PFS tried to get us to deposit a check and allow them access to our account!! Ottawa Ontario

We recieved a letter and a check from Pioneer Financial Services from Ottawa Ontario Canada stating the we had been selected as a winner in some sort of prize drawing for $125,000. They then said that we had to deposit the check they had sent us and then allow them access to our bank account so that they could pay the taxes to send the rest of the money to the US in another check.

Some of the details that made it seem more real was that they said there had been a mixup in names and numbers in the drawing and that there had been a delay in the proccessing.

They also included a reference number and batch number that was verified by the person taking the call. All of this seemed very real and legit.
