I also received a letter from Pioneer Financial Services. Stating that my name had been pulled and that i was to receive a payout of 125,000.00 dollars. i received a check in the amount of 3925.00. For a bank in Lancaster Pa. I called the number to see what was the catch. Robert will answer the phone informing you to deposit the check and that after the check clears in 48 hours to call and get an inservice number. I called the next day and informed Robert the check cleared. Robert gave me a address to New York city stating this is there American office. I did a little research the address is in Brooklyn New York it is ashame how people try to con you out of your hard earned money.

Pioneer Services, the military banking division of MidCountry Bank, is warning the public about an international lottery scam in which it's corporate name and logo is being used illegally.
Several individuals have recently contacted the company regarding a letter notifying them that they have won a $125,000.00 lottery prize. The hoax letter, which uses a Pioneer Services logo, includes an official looking check for a nominal amount of money, and directs the individual to contact Pioneer Financial Services at an international phone number and address where they can claim their prize money after paying taxes and an administrative fee on their winnings.
Pioneer Services has absolutely no connection with this matter and is actively investigating this hoax. The company has contacted the proper authorities and the BBB regarding this issue and is encouraging anyone that has received a similar notice to contact their local authorities as well.
