Yeah so last friday, my checking account was compromised. the only thing i use my account info on is pokerstars.com. someone from australia racked up over a thousand dollars in merchandise, before the bank noticed and shut down my account. i wrot pokerstars a email at support@pokerstars.com telling them i thought it could have came from them and if it did, then they needed to take the measures to keep their security in tact. so later that day i was so stressed about all my financial problems that i wanted to play a few hands of poker. i didnt have much on my account(less than 20 bucks) but when i logged in later that day, it wouldnt let me. when i emailed them again and finally got a response the next day, they said they froze my account. why? the damage has already been done. i think they were pissed that i told them their website probably had a fault in it, so they rebuddled and shut my account down. of course, they dont have a number listed for these reasons.
ive been researching everywhere, and every page ive pulled up on them is bad review after bad review. i have no clue if ill ever get my money back, its not about the money anymore its about the principle. i will NEVER deal with them again, and ill recommend to everyone i know not to try it, or to shut down their accounts. this place is nothing but a rip-off!! their main office is in the isle of man, or something. if i knew when i signed up that they werent in the u.s. i would have never signed up. BEWARE!!!
im spending the time writing this to warn all other people that want to gamble online. i mean how can you prove that its not set up in anyway? YOU CANT!!! you have been warned. my pokerstars name is globalaces. ive sent them exactly 47 messages since friday morning(march 27,2009) that lets you know how much there support team really helps. im just glad i didnt make a 500 dollar deposit or anything.

iam sure you are not winning at online poker and an affiliate of pokerstars (or any other) u call us bad players but deny the fact that thousands of people world wide saying the same thing about it, u know what the problem for u is:
they rip off so many people who are all complaining, that U affiliates cant keep up...
on begin when i started playing i saw about 1 on 1 the 1 saying its scammed the other saying it isnt and those are bad players (or something) now 2-3 years later its like 1 to 20 people getting smarter and internet getting fuller of reports of your scams, so i wonder how long this scam game will last...
the software is programmed to rip you off the bots they use to theyre cash out is terrible (if u do get it at all) the security is crap to
so i do believe this guy to...

First of all, no online gaming company is in the USA. Its illegal. 2nd, I doubt your identity theft had anything to do with pokerstars. How would this even be possible unless someone really high in the company was able to access your info...not likely.
If I were to log into your account right now, I wouldn't have access to any of your banking information.
2nd of all ENOUGH with this poker bot crap. LOL You guys are just bad at the game. even if I was playing against a computer, I would still win....and I do win.
get a real complaint or learn how to win instead of writing bs crap.
Thanks for paying my rent.

YOU WILL NOT GET AN HONEST GAME GAMBLING ON THE INTERNET

YOU CAN NOT GET AN HONEST GAME ON THE INTERNET.
MOST OF THESE GAMES ARE PROGRAMMED TO MAKE YOU LOSE.
YOU ARE PLAYING WITH A BOT --AN AUTOMATED PROGRAM AND YOU WILL ALWAYS LOSE.
ORGANIZED CRIME RUNS THESE FAKE GAMES. YOU CANNOT SEE WHO YOU ARE PLAYING AGAINST.
SHOULD YOU WIN, YOU NOT GET YOUR MONEY.
BUT THEY HAVE YOURS AND YOUR PERSONAL IDENTITY AND IF YOU WERE STUPID ENOUGH TO GIVE THEM YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION, THEY HAVE THAT TOO.
IF YOU HAVE TO GAMBLE, ASK SOME FRIENDS OVER WITH BEER,SANDWICHES,CHIPS AND SEVERAL DECKS OF CARDS.
USE YOUR COMMON SENSE AND DO NOT GAMBLE WITH PEOPLE YOU DO NOT KNOW, WITH ODDS YOU DO NOT KNOW AND YOU WILL ALWAYS LOSE AND GIVE CRIMINALS YOUR MONEY.
