This company keeps calling and sending me letters stating I owe them money. Over 6 months ago I asked them for proof of my debt they claimed they sent it to me but never did and they continue to harrass me without any documentation I requested a long time ago.

How do I get them to cease or do I just keep ignoring them

They even say ,in small print, that, because of the age of this debt, they will not sue me, nor will they report it to any credit reporting agency, yet it does come up on my credit report and stopping me from getting a good score in order to get a house.
