Power Home Technologies Made hard inquiry on credit Charlotte North Carolina

 Power Home Technologies came to my home ,said my security carrier was updating key pads free of charge. They even gave me an appointment to install the key pad. I was under the impression that they worked for my home security. Something didn't feel right, so I called my carrier and they had no idea what I was talking about. I called and canceled my appointment. The following day I checked my credit report and found a hard inquiry on my credit. Now I have to try and have that inquiry removed. I'm thankful I didn't sign a contract. When someone tell you they're upgrading , know there isn't anything free.
