I contacted this company last year in November. Paid them $6500.00 which they said would be all I would have to pay for my whole case. They promised to get me an "offer in compromise" and save me thousands of dollars off my tax bill .

Then they called me back and told me after talking to the IRS that my case was more complicated and that they would need an additional $7500.00 I told them I did not have it but had only $1495.00, they toook that and again told me it would cover the whole case.

I Sent back their MOUNTAINS of paperwork in January and heard nothing from them for months! I called them when I moved in APril and told them my new address and asked what was happening they said this takes time and that someone would contact me.

Well I started getting letters again from the IRS and called them again and was again told that it takes time. Then I got another very threatening letter from the IRS and again called them last week. It took 10 phone calls to get someone to call me back and Nancy was quite rude. Told me they had never recieved my paperwork initially that I never told them I moved, told me that I had caused a lot or problems and extra work and that the IRS is not believeing them anymore because of so many missed deadlines. Now mind you my mail is all being forwarded and my phone at work is the same, NO ONE ever contacted me.

I can not get a straight answer out of them about who the attorneys are that work there, no anser on what they have actually DONE for me, just nasty attitudes.

They were supposed to express mail me another packet last week as things have changes and I never got that. Apparently again they supposedly sent it to the old address. Yeah right.

I faxed them the copies I made of the original packet and printed a confirmation copy for prrof. It went through fine but they mysteriously can not locate it. These people are a nightmare. I'm still fighting them and may go to the attorney general and make a complaint in their state and mine.

I'm not letting this go. They messed with the wrong woman this time. I WILL see them shut down if it is the last thing I do!!

Also a victim of Power Tax Relief

AUTHOR: Pat S - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 27, 2007

Mary,

DO NOT BELIEVE anything from Kay or anyone else from Power Tax Relief, nothing will change with your situation and you will only end up spending more money, I can't even begin to express my concerns with anyone dealing with this "company". Before you get any deeper with the IRS or PTR, I would run as fast as I could, ask for a refund, partial or full. They ripped me off to the tune of $25,000 and I will not stand by and allow this. I will be filing my own report but I didn't want you to get a false sense of security with a new person from this company. everything you've stated in your statement here has happened to us and they all originated from Kay or someone who sounds identical to her, and she is NOT an attorney. I've been able to talk with one attorney, an alleged attorney anyway, for literally 5 minutes or less during the entire time of my experience. All they have are excuses, and once they get tired of hearing from you or accuse them of not doing anything, which they won't, they will simply pull their power of attorney and move on to the next victim. I really don't know how these people can stay in business, but it will be my pleasure seeing them shut down, and anything I can do to help in this effort, I will gladly take part in, sparing no expense.

I will file my own report sometime in the next few days as time permits, but I wanted to post a quick comment on this company real quick. I also had a few domain names registered on my behalf back in April when I felt something was wrong, so those will be up as time allows. www.powertaxreliefscam.com/org, www.powertaxscam.com, www.thetaxscam.com.

Power Tax Relief - Update on problem

AUTHOR: Missdreamer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 12, 2007

Well, well, I am now working with a nice woman named Kay Tse. She is a manager at Power Tax Relief. She has been quite responsive and acually gotten something done for me. I recieved about 1/2 of my returns for signing and sending out on this friday past. I will be contacting her today for answers on the other 1/2. Then from what she says it is a waiting game for a bit till they are posted and they can begin negotiations with the IRS. Perhaps I had been a bit harsh in my previous report but talking to different people every time and getting comflicting information was extremely frustrating.

I think a lot of the problem was the fact that I had moved and so had Power Tax Relief and my case kind of slipped through a crack. I now feel confident that we (Kay and I) can work this out and get a satisfctory resolution to my problem and I can get my life back. The stress has been horrible! Thanks Power Tax Relief and Kay Tse for coming through and making a bad situation better!

RESOLVED...

AUTHOR: Power Tax - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 06, 2007

We contacted the client in response to this report, and in addition to clearing up all the misunderstandings between the client and ourselves, we made sure that certain procedures were immediately implemented to prevent this from occurring again.

In a nutshell, based on all the data we had on our end, and based on what she perceived on her end, we clearly were on opposite ends of the spectrum. We thought she was avoiding the issues and she thought we were not working the case. But during our discussion, this matter was cleared up and we proceeded work on her case immediately.

This matter has been resolved, although her case is still pending.
