Pre-Paid Legal Services. ripoff Chicago Illinois

I am a paying member of pre-paid legal services. I contacted them for a lawyer in real estate because I was buying a condo. the lawyer, Attorney Kathleen M. Okeefe-Rivera did not work in my behalf because the lender MidAmerica Bank listed payments in my Escrow Account for $20.83 per month for a $249,900.00 loan.

I contacted Evans, Loewenstein, Shimanovsky & Moscardini,Ltd. to complain and ask for help because their lawyer should have known and understood the business of realty,taxes and new construction.

I also spoke with her and asked why didn't she see that amount. She responded "that's my place to take care
of my business not her". At this present time I am losing my home because of the taxes that the lender had to pay because I couldn't. No one wants to refinance. I believe this is a rip-off because the lawyer didn't work in my behalf.

The reason I was not aware of the taxes and an escrow account because I as a first time buyer and don't and didn't know about purchasing property. That's the reason I ask for a lawyer which I thought would be helpful and would explain to me concerning certain aspects of buying a home. Judy L. Smith, Chicago,IL
