I was contacted on 10/22/08 by Melissa Powell that I had been approved for a $7,000.00 loan, after going over everything with me and telling me that I had to send $635.00 which was the first 8 payments my loan would be transferred into my account within 48 hrs. She faxed me the agreement, which I read and signed and faxed back to her. I called her back anad told her I had signed the agreement and had faxed it back. She then gave me the name of the person I was to send the money to(Andrea Edmonds) in Atlanta, GA. I sent her the moneygram on Saturday morning and then called Melissa with the reference #. Melissa called me back Monday morning and told me that there was an error when my application was typed in the computor. Whoever typed in the information, typed in that I was a return customer, but they couldnt find me in the computor So since I was a new customer , Andrea wanted me to pay an insurance deposit of $500.00. I sent that money the next morning, after I called Melissa and gave her the reference number, she said my money would be in my account in 3-4 hrs. Around 4:45 that evening, Mr. Stovell from customer service called me and told me she wanted the rest of the insurance deposit of $200.00. I told him I didnt get paid until Friday and I would send it that morning. He called me at 11:20 that morning to see if I had sent the money and I told him I had and that I had faxed the information in.He said he will notify Andrea and he would get back to me in an hour.I never heard back from him. I called I dont know how many times and could never get anyone to answer the phone.I finally talked to someone on Wednesday and I found out the reason Melissa hadnt returned my calls was because she was on leave, and I was told by Susan that my loan had timed out and that they were refunding my money, and it would be in my account 11/12/08. It is now the 14th and I still havent gotten my money back and I keep trying to call them and the recording on the phone says hello===goodbye and then it hangs up. I am out $1,435.00 and I will probably never see that money again, and the bad thing about it all was I borrowed that money from my girls and now I dont have the money to pay them back.

Very sad

AUTHOR: Randy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 14, 2008

It's very sad to hear of things like this happening. You will never see that money again, and what is even more frightening is now these thieves have your personal information which will make identity theft a real possibility in the near future.
