Numerous particles of sports jerseys, autographs, coins and currency , baseball memorabilia were acquired.
In their statement, Authenication of many items are done AFTER the item was acquired, not during its signing. On sports jerseys,98 % of the autographs are on the number. The number is signed with the autographs when it is not on the jerseys. It is then sewn on the knock off jerseys, (not the team jersey it represents) when it is sewn back on, the stitching overlaps the signature on many of the jerseys.
LOOK FOR YOURSELF WHERE THE AUTOGRAPHS APPEAR. Toys were purchased that were. Supposedly 80 to 90 years old. However, a zipcode appeared on the box. Zip codes were not used by the USPS until 1965. Another contained a web address that became into use heavily in the90's. Neither were marked replica. One gold coin tested forRhodium and gold plate, Not gold as advertised.
Postage is listed as 1 %. No items received contained an insured label. The insurance charged is alleged Money Laundry according to both IRS and USPS. UPS provides insurance automatically to 125.00 included with shipping. Which means Pristine Auction is claiming postage as an alleged business expense when it is a profit margin.
When an insurance claim was filed and 3 emails with photographs of the damage, no replacement was shipped. Fraudulent advertising was found in every category. However, legitimate items were also determined to be received on occasion. However, every sports jersey was found to be lacking the. NFL, MLB HOLOGRAM.and originated from the Phillipines, Indonesia and Asia. TWO teams were contacted and both purchase their jerseys from US vendor.
A check by the Accounting personnel of the team indicated they received no royalties. ALL SECONDARY sales of items on line are subject to copyright laws and royalties when tags are attached. Pristine auction May not use or assert an affirmative defense as a "consigned seller" because in their statement on policies, they" examine" ALL items before selling. ITEMS, with invoices have been tagged for submission to the US Attorney's office, USPS, FBI. Buyers PURCHASE SPORTS MEMORABILIA FROM OTHER ON LINE SELLERS.
