Progress Energy - Progress Energy Carolinas We are a non profit youth league.If we turn on the field lights one (1) time we are put in a on demand list. Our light bill averages 66.00 a month if we don't turn on the field lights. When we were forced to turn them on one time our bill went to $461.70. Now whether we turn them on or not we are charged that amount for 12 straight months. It is known as an on demand charge for just in case. Raleigh North Carolina
