Progressive Auto Insurance Progressive Insurance: Expecting refund, got hit with a cancelation fee instead... San Francisco, California

Switched to another company as i got a better deal on my two vehicles & Progressive wouldn't match it (staying with them would have added up to over $800 more a year!).

I had been with them from the beginning, since buying my first car back in 1998. I had about 2 week left on the policy & thus was expecting a refund, but instead they tried to charge me a cancelation fee....

Talk about a vindictive break-up. I can tell you there will never be a reconciliation :-)

DON"T waste your money on them....
