I joined Project Curve Appeal a few years ago. Friends had told me that in the Atlanta area they were getting around and I lived in Jonesboro. I thought this would be a good idea to meet new and different people. To make a long story short they claimed to have all these activities when the only activities were about recruiting more members to get more money. It was like a cult. The girls that were in the Atlanta chapter were so hard up to be a part of something they took on a better than thou attitude.

I was forced into paying money and helping to set up a conference and when taking the classes in the conference the directors seem uneducated in the industry and the simplest modeling techniques. Needless to say I lasted about a few weeks and paid about $350, the only thing I gained were a few photos with Curve Appeal slapped all over them and negative some cash. I didnt know there was such thing as Rip Off Report until I saw some girls complaint being passed around on Facebook or I would have reported them back then. I will be telling all my friends that feel the same way about Rip Off Report/Project Curve Appeal.

It is so unfortunate that your experience was not a joyful one Latasha. However, I am apart of the organization you seek to discredit, due to your own intrinsic and personal dilemmas.   Class is not determined by your educational level, or what organization you belong to, or what position you currently hold. It is an internal component within each individual, it is a component I witness in many members daily.

It is a component that Pink City Corp seeks to attract as we grow and empower women everywhere. It is not suitable to try and gain merit by broadcasting private conversations to the public. The process to become a FOCA is a series of steps, each step is design to eliminate those who are not serious about the movement and who will no be dedicated to the movement.

Pink City Corp desires women who have outstanding character and personality to promote the movement and join the sisterhood.  Becoming a FOCA or a member is a personal choice, it is not a law and it is not for everyone.  You must be willing to take part in a phenomenal movement and contribute as a positive member.

Mrs. Patterson is a dynamic leader and will surpass any malicious attempts by you to discredit her or Pink City Corp. We are an organization seeking to empower and inspire women of all sizes and backgrounds. We are growing transitioning and altering the lifes of women world wide. Its evident that Pink City Corp is not the right fit for you and we wish you well.

We sympathize with your feeling and hope that you continue to flourish in all areas of your life Latasha!

Classy huh?

AUTHOR: Latashatx1 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, February 27, 2012

I laugh it would really do justice for a Member to stay out of this business and not post anything here.  But  lets talk about intelligent and classy.
I AM currently a recruiter for a talent acquisition firm
I Have received an Associates Degree in Paralegal, A Bachelors of Science in Business and in June will have completed An Master of Business Administration in Human Resources.
I am a project manager for an Austin based charity and Co chair of a Dallas Texas charity.
My point, if project curve appeal wanted someone of class, WEALTH, intelligence, education  it was skipped big time in the people I was introduced too.

Dont write another posting acting like Project Curve Appeal hand picked or selected anyone. I submitted an application paid $15 then another $289 and I was in. They want you get in pay your money and after that is like a pyramid scheme recruited 5 people for $20. Really?  Unlike the other group I belong to Project Curve Appeal is not an elite period.

Now Lets talk: You know nothing about what ive been through with Project Curve Appeal to come and try to jump to their rescue. So let me give you a piece of the Class and Intelligence that so you say project curve appeal choose to be Executive Directors.
In my first week being with the group I knew all the gossip, From the mouth of Juanita Patterson Executive Director.  I was told how one girl had been evicted multiple times and how her child was bad and ran people away from the shop that she worked ( hair), this person would also be like their mother trifling and broke.  I also knew who could and couldnt pay their $10 a month in fees because this same Executive Director told me. SOME CLASS. Lets talk about how when I went to group meetings if we wanted to grab something to eat afterwards grown women 30 years of age and up couldnt even pay for their own food. SOME CLASS. (Keep in mind these are all things that the EXEUCTIVE DIRECTOR JUANITA PATTERSON TOLD ME AS A NEW MEMBER IN MY FIRST WEEK.
Now why would I want to be in a group like this? I didnt so I resigned. What happened when I resigned?
The very classy Juanita Patterson committed a criminal  act and hacked my FACEBOOK AND YAHOO account.  Let me tell you how intelligent she is. SHE SENT THE CONTENTS OF MY EMAIL BOX IN A CERTIFIED LETTER (she was actually going to try to use this against me in court), she stole from my email and was going to try to use it against me in court! REALLY SMART!.
We subpoenaed her work and home and verified who she was before calling her into the police office and questioning her about it. She tried to lie before she was presented with a paper trail. Then she broke down and confessed. Then Charges were filed and she has a warranted seen above for her arrest.

VERY CLASSY OF HER TO BE DRIVING AROUND WITH A WARRANT FOR HER ARREST. Maybe instead of replying to stuff that doesnt concern you, you should be explaining to her classy criminal self the benefits of turning herself in!
Please no one else try to be a hero because I will shut you down each time and you are only making it worse on the company and yourself. This will not be pretty for you!
If classy and intelligent is what Project Curve Appeal thinks they have, I am happy being Latasha.

Not   Curve Appeal classy, or criminal
Sad chicks. SMH.
Your Latasha

Pink City Corp is not an organization for everyone; we seek classy and sophisticated women. We are an organization that aims to empower women of all shapes and sizes. Chapters are establish to spread the movement in each city and represent its core purpose.  As a FOCA you must be a leader, ambitious, and classy. If you are not a leader this may not be the organization for you.

If you are not a team player this is not the organization for you. We desire women who wish to lead and support the movement and do so with honor. Our organization is new and growing fast. Within our organization there are fees, however all fees are accounted for. At my face camp experience, I had the time of my life. It was truly a sisterhood bonding experience, coupled with mini workshops on runway, makeup and etc. My photo were beautiful and fierce, bonding with my sisters was inspiring and up lifting.

Since I have joined I have a new found confidence toTAKE OVER THE WORLD".

It is impossible to satisfy everyone as within any organizational structure. Even within our own lives we experience people who are never happy or satisfied.

Pink City Corp is full of dynamic women and we are all making our mark here in the world, hopefully you will be the next "Chosen One".

Response from Project Curve Appeal

AUTHOR: Pink City Corp (Project Curve Appea - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, February 16, 2012

Project Curve Appeal officially denies the accusations that have been posted online.  The accusations state that we are directly
responsible for the accusers loss of money through our business practices.  These accusations are unfounded and
incorrect, and have been initiated through an upset ex-member of our sisterhood.

One of the things PCC is most proud of is that we try to maintain a high level of integrity in all of our actions. We are positive organization trying to do positive things with positive people. As we all know with anything we do in life...you can't
please everyone.  As an organization, we try to make every attempt to positively resolve any situation that may arise.  Unfortunately we were unable to do so with this individual.

We are not a modeling agency, nor do we claim to be.  We are a sisterhood united across the nation, with chapters in over 15 cities.  Our members include spokes-models which we title as Faces of Curve Appeal (FOCA).   Our advertised in-house training and photo shoots (Face Camp) simply provide the basic tools needed to be successful as a FOCA (not a professional model in the fashion industry).

Our Face Camp training is split into three parts. The first is the orientation where we go in detail over the handbook, policies, guidelines, and expectations for the FOCA while representing their chapter and our organization. We also thoroughly explain the opportunities the FOCA have to earn monetary compensation and recoup and/or raise funds for any expenses as a
member. At any given time, the women can decide if the sisterhood is something they choose to be a part of, or decline.
If they choose to join, they sign a document stating they understand our policies and expectations.

The second part of Face Camp is the ModelMe Experience. During this part, the finalists are able to sign up for optional mini-workshops which assist in preparing for their Glam Day Photo Shoot.  In addition, once a Finalist becomes a Face,
they are welcome to participate in all future workshops at no additional cost for training, including new workshops that may not have been offered at their initial Face Camp.

The third part of Face Camp is the Glam Day Photo Shoot. This is the initial photo shoot a finalist chooses to participate in, to be promoted as an official Face of Curve Appeal.  Included with this shoot is a makeup application by a professional makeup artist, and a photo shoot with two personal looks.  Project Curve Appeal also includes a free third look with their promotional FOCA shirt which is shared with the Finalist should they officially become a FOCA after Face Camp.

Glam Day photo shoot images are shared with the finalist through a personal link sent 1-3 weeks after the shoot. For their personal use, they receive 5-12 shots for both looks and the images have a basic edit (cropped and adjusted lighting if
needed). In some cases, the photographer is overly generous and provides additional complementary images above
the 5-12. In those cases, the images may be raw (unedited).

Once a finalist is chosen to become an official FOCA after Face Camp, depending on the status of the chapter, she will participate in recruiting events, community service activities, fitness, bonding activities and promotional events.  If a chapter is newer or they don't have all their management positions filled, they may host fewer events until they recruit enough members to become an active chapter.

Project Curve Appeal understands that not all participants will feel this organization is a right fit for them. If any situations arises that give cause for concern, the directors make themselves easily accessible to every member and supporter of the organization, to try to rectify the situation.

Project Curve Appeal does note claim to be a perfect organization, as we are always looking for ways to improve the sisterhood.  Like other growing companies, we are a work in progress. We learn from every experience and event, and try to make the next one better. Our mission is to Unite, Empower and Education sophisticated, classy full-figured women all around the world. We are comprised of over 15 independent chapters and pending chapters who carry out our mission in their local cities to the best of their abilities.  We stand behind the positive women of the organization, and want to personally thank all of our members, partners, true fans and supporters over the years. Because of you, we are able to rise to another level personally, and collectively as a sisterhood.

Project Curve Appeal did not even start hosting "Face Camp" until 2011. Prior to that, we held "ModelMe Experience" only which was simply Faces first photo shoots, orientation and basic training. The ModelMe event was only $175 unless there was a late fee. PCA was not even member based prior to October 2010 so this person claiming to have spent $350 "a few years ago" is false.
