protechnik HUGE RIPOFF - White Van scam Internet

Well, be ware of the white van schemes- they are happening everywhere - my most recent encounter was with a male, driving a black chevy tahoe, and a male passenger as well. He approached me saying that he had just finished doing an install and the shipping center had screwed up and given him an extra one. He showed me this fancy catalog with this huge price tag, and said he will take whatever he can get for them - another thing that I did not notice was that the MSRP was right one the box with the barcode--- tell me, when was the last time you saw the price of something actually printed on the box - the website says the same information - but if you type in protechnik anywhere- espiciallly google - you will have hundreds of sites popping up saying these are scam artists. Save yourself the money - if you get taken for a ride like I did - I'm sorry - but on the upside- i only lost 40 bucks- because as soon as I was done I did some research - and realized how horrible these speakers are - and I went to a pawn shop and pawned them - and got $100 out of it. If you are approached by these men trying to sell you stuff out of the back of their truck - get their license plate - and description of the guys- and call the cops - or call them while they are still there. Put these guys off the street!
