I had a book published with them. I don't think they read it. It could look better. Everytime I try to e-mail them they don't e-mail me back.

I have not got paid for the books I have sold. You can not sell anything unless you know a lot of people. I talked to Books a million and Barnes and noble. They were willing to buy cases of my books. Then they found out it was published by Publish America. So they did not buy them. I have only sold maybe 8 or 9 copies of my book.

I am not going to pay the money they want for the books to tell you how to sell your book.

Plain and Simple Truth

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 04, 2005

Publish America caters to a population who can't write or spell. They appeal to those whose work will never be read by an legitimate book publishing agency.

Had you investigated them before submitting your work you would have realized this. There is plenty of information on the Web about this company.

Major book stores do not accept books published by PA, nor will they render book signing privileges to the author. One glance at your work explains why.

You wrote "I have not got paid for the books I have sold".

The plain and simple truth is you cannot write. A writer who respects his work would never post a sentence like that.

Writer's spend years honing their skills. They spend countless hours editing and refining their work. They sweat over every detail.

You didn't even take the time to edit one post.

You have your "book" in hand. You've sold a couple of copies, which I'm sure were purchased by family members or friends. You were paid an advance of one dollar. You have bragging rights to feed to the gullible public who know nothing about Publish America.

If you didn't buy any of PA's books, your venture cost you nothing.

Be content with that. It's more than you will get from anyone else. Publish America did you a favor by turning you into a "published author". You cannot fault PA without also faulting yourself.

The only true victims are real writers who must now share the glory with "published writers" who can't construct a simple sentence.
