Puppy Depot ripoff Coram New York

We also bought a pup from Puppy Depot for well over $1000. She became sick after having her a few weeks, She been hospitalized with a enlarged kidney. She became so vilently ill that we spent 900 dollars trying to find out what was wrong with her. The vet could not find an explanation for her enlarged kidney. They did exrays , blood test, urine anaylisis, etc. The only explanation is she was born with this defect.

I believe if Puppy depot are going to ask top dollar for their dogs, the least they can do is insure that the puppies are healthy. Yes they give you a guarantee but they know most animal lovers are not willing to trade their pup in for a "better" model. My vet wanted to do a cat scan but I knew at this point , I loved the pup and all we can do is try to keep her well. They would have put her to sleep and we did not want to see this happen.

I would use precaution when buying a pet from any pet store. I would prefer to buy from a breeder or go to a rescue shelter. I am sure they use better care before they allow the dogs to be adopted out. Buyer be aware!
