This online penny auction company is nothing short of a legalized crook.
They definitely need more oversight.
For example, in the middle of bidding on bid vouchers, I purchased more bids from their online store. During this transaction, unbeknownst to me, I had received an email offering me a personal price for the same package of 100 bids I had just purchased. I paid $60 for those 100 bids, the personal price offered me in the email was $33.60, a difference of $26.40. In short time, I bought another pack of 100 bids for $60 but had an email offering me a personal price of $36.60, a difference of $23.40.
So I emailed Quibids asking them for a refund of $49.80 ($26.40 + $23.40) since it is the difference in the price they offered me by email. After three emails and a phone call, they conveniently tell me they can't do this because the types of bids they offered me this special price for are different than the ones I purchased at full retail value. The difference between the two bids is that the ones offered in the email are voucher bids are NOT refundable. Now understand the reason you get these special BUY NOW offer emails is because you have already spent bids trying to win these auctions. So even though REAL bids as opposed to VOUCHER bids were used to try and win the auction of 100 VOUCHER bids, I can't have a partial refund (per their own offer) for the 100 bids I bought because they are different types of bids.
I then complained that in their bid purchase store, this buy now VOUCHER bids option was not available to me, just the REAL voucher bids option at full retail value.
The reality is the two packages of 100 bids are spent, so I won't be asking for a refund of them because they were REAL bids versus VOUCHER bids. The point is that if I had known I was being offered the ability to purchase a package of 100 VOUCHER bids at a discounted rate from the 100 REAL bids I purchased, I would have bought them. The fact that this company refuses to credit me the difference for their own offer is asinine.
Bottom line, these people are crooks. I have closed my account and will NEVER do business with them again.

QUIBIDS TWISTS THE FACTS

After several conversations and emails with your staff, I understand well the difference between voucher bids and real bids. The difference for those of you reading this is that real bids are refundable and voucher bids are not.
At Quibids, if you are bidding on an item but don't win it they will offer you (via email) an opportunity to buy that item you didn't win for its original cost LESS the amount of money (bids) you have already spent trying to win that item.
Now you can have Quibids show these buying opportunities in your account, but you have to ask them to do this otherwise they won't. This alone should show the character the company lacks. Yes, that's right, if I don't ask them to post in my account the discounted items, they won't. Which again, are only discounted because of the money I have already spent trying to win said item(s).
Instead, they want to trick you, like they did with me. So when I went to my account to purchase more bids (voucher or real, be damned) since I was buying them to spend. They ONLY show me the option of to purchase the real bids. Meanwhile they are sending me emails to purchase the voucher bids.
For those of you who may still be confused by complaint, here it is:
1) Quibids didn't post in my account the opportunity to buy a bid package at a reduced rate (which wasn't really a reduced rate, but cheaper than a new package, since the reduce rate package reflected the difference between the money I spent trying to acquire the item.
2) Instead, they send me an email offering me the discounted rate. Again, it is inconsequential to me whether the bids are refundable (the only difference between a voucher bid and a real bid) because I was buying them to spend.
3) They have all the records, Quibids knows I was purchasing real bid voucher packages at full price during the SAME TIME FRAME they are sending me emails to buy the discounted voucher bid packages. Allow me to further illustrate . . .I'm bidding on bid packages, I run out of bids, I go to the store to buy more bids, meanwhile they are sending me reduced rate bid package deals by email, I bid anew with my bids purchased at full price and on the cycle goes. The entire time frame is about 1.5 hours. So all of this is happening concurrently.
4) So once I am out of bids and decide to stop bidding. I check my smart phone and see that I have received all of these emails for reduced rate bid packages. Naturally, I am upset because I just paid full price for the bids I just used.
5) I send an email, someone responds in about an hour - conveniently they pretend to not understand my request for a refund of the difference between the full priced package of bids I purchased and the discounted package of bids offered me in the email.
We go through a cat-n-mouse email game which ends in their employee just not responding. I try to call their support phone number but they don't work on Sunday.
So the next morning, on Monday, I call their support number and again, the representative tries to pretend like I am making no sense. One of his defenses is that I purchased real bids and the offer was only for voucher bids. Again, the only difference is that real bids are refundable and voucher bids are not. This is a moot point, since the bids are spent, I am not asking for a full refund. I am asking for a difference between the full retail package and the discounted package offered me in the email.
So on July 23, 2011 at 7:31 p.m. I received an email confirmation from Quibids.com for my purchase of 100 bids at $60. On July 23, 2011 at 7:32 p.m. I received an email from Quibids.com offering to sell me a voucher bid package of 100 bids for $33.60. Again, because this discounted offer was not automatically made available to me I did not see it until I was done bidding. I sent the first email to the company immediately after I saw the email offers. So I asked for the difference of $60 from $33.60 be refunded me for the bids already spent.
Quibids.com tries to confound the issue of voucher bids and real bids - again, this is a moot point since all the bids were already spent.
Again, this company's character speaks volumes by this behavior.
It is akin to walking in a department store and buying a pair of shoes. You start walking out of the store and you walk by a customer buying the same shoes and you notice the cashier tells them a price for $20 less. You ask about this and you find out that they posted a note in the bathroom for a discount on the shoes, but only people who went to the bathroom would know they were on sale. So you ask for a difference on the shoes you literally just purchased and they tell you no.
This company operates off bait-and-switch tactics. If they had any integrity at all they would do right by themselves and honor the discounted rate and refund me the difference because what person in their right mind (had they known about the option at purchase time) would pay full price for a package of bids that the company was offering them at a discounted rate (which again, isn't really discounted but the difference of what I have already spent with them)?
Fool me once, shame on me. There will be no more fooling here, Quibids.com, so sorry. SHAME ON QUIBIDS.COM.!!!!

I believe there is some confusion and am sorry you feel this way. The emails you received sounds like they were our BuyNow offerings. Meaning, whatever you were bidding on, you were getting closer to the retail price, so we notified you asking if you'd like to purchase them at retail, minus the cost of the bids you spent in the auction you were originally bidding on. There is a difference between real bids and voucher bids which is explained on our site. Feel free to call our customer service back. We're happy to explain the differences between the types of bids, the emails you received and resolve any issues.
