Quibids.com has been ripping me off for months. I finally won a 32inch Panasonic TV and paid for the shipping and waited 2 weeks and they told me it was processed on the 9th of December . After I won it on the 2nd of Dec. I waited another week an a half and finally I found out on my e-mail that the people had to cancel it. They offered me my money back or gave me a few choices to buy something else.

Since I was promised that TV and it was a present for my husband I didn't want anyething back but another TV if they really where a good company that cares about thir customers. They needed gave me the money back but they gave me 801 bids for my troubles.I've bought more but I only have 501 left. I can't seem to win anything when it goes down to 1second and changes dfferent names so you never win anything.I told them I was sick and tied of them cheating me all the time. they always have an answer for everything but it only suites them.I would like to see these people start treating people with respect and quick stealing their money. When someone gets down to 1second they should but Sold to that person.

I did a reverse lookup on the street address (minus the Suite #) and it is actually a UPS Store. What legitimate business uses a UPS Store for it's corporate location???  SCAMMERS do.
Are they operating out of someones basement? That is embarassing........

Penny bids are geared to the uninformed and gullible. They rake in fantastic profit margins on the electronics and allow many to easily win junk auctions (perfumes and jewelry and other nondescript Chinese trinkets). A true scam all around. Not illegal at all but scams do not have to be illegal.

Checked their domain name registration and it uses the same UPS Store address. They appear to be doing their own web hosting.

The BBB is also using this phony address in it's review page.

Here's the major players names:

  Mr. Matt Beckham (CEO)
  Mr. Jeff Geurts (CFO)
Ms. Jill Farrand (Director of PR)
Mr. Bart Consedine (Chief Marketing Officer)
  Mr. Brian Emery (Marketing Manager)
  Mr. Shaun Tilford (CTO)
Ms. Kerry Morris (VP Biz Dev Merchandising)
  Mr. Mark Weigt (Busineess Analyst)
  Mr. Chad Taylor (Category Manager)

You can afford this level of staffing when you run a penny auction and have no office overhead. If you don't award auction prizes your profit margin really soars.

Check out their colorful pages and personal websites at LinkedIn. Quickly...... they'll be pulling them down real fast.

If you look at Matt Beckhams page he's a co-founder of a company called EGX (egx.com). If you check out the site it has no mention of any management team but it gives a swank New York City address. Unfortunately, it again is the address of a local UPS Store. Do you see a pattern here???

Time to start rolling these operations up.

Home addresses and phone numbers to follow shortly.........
