radioshack a radioshack employee bought my phone from but i thought i was selling it back to radioshack but turns out it was for the employee and turns out he put phone on my account and fraudulated my account marshalltown, Iowa

well i purchassed an evo 4g android phone from radioshack through sprint contract at 5/28/11.
so i had the phone for about 15 days and realizied my phone charges were outrageous considering i had pretty much evrything included in my plan.
so i called radioshack one day and asked if i could sell it back to them and they said i they could but only give me a radioshack card so i said no id rather have cash.

so acouple days layer this man named andrew from radioshack called me back askimg if i was still interested in sell ing my phone so i said ya for how much and he said 60 dallars so half price.
so i said  ok and he told me ok cancel your contract with sprint before you bring it into the store so i said ok.

i called sprint and explained what he said and she said no wait till you get to to radioshack to cancel contract  so i got their   the man looked at my phone took it back to the back room for like 45 minutes came back to front handed me 60 dallars and said he was in the back contacting sprint about canceling my contract .

anways the man said he got it canceled did not ask to look at my recipt or any type of id so i asked for a recipt  and he gave me back a recipt that was not even about phone and crossed something out with pen and wrote 60 dollars under something.

so went back to apt called sprint to confirm my account was closed in fact it was not but instead it so happens the man put the same kind of phone on my account just changed the color   so i  went back to radioshack  confronted the man and he tells me my account was suppost to be closed and  he tells me thats weird that he use to have a white phone  and i put it all togeather he put his phone on my account  when i wanted it cancelled because i am still on my 30 day guarentee.

i went back to apt looked on email and printed off my notifications from sprint about all my account changes i did not autherize and aloso printed out emails i no that were not my making and also have a reliable witness paperwork and a recipt that is not deluted right with a phonenumber that was not mine. i would give you all info but rather wait till i talk in person about my case

Let us start by one who has no respect for others shall get no respect for themselves. When one chooses to insult another for improper spelling and grammar, they should also make sure they have not done the same as well. For all I know English is not your native language and would make an easy target for anyone to abuse. I can at least act like an actual person with an intellect and at least say you could use more training in English language. I most certainly will not act like a seven year old who thinks they know everything.
 
Back to your problem with Radioshack. My knowledge in retail would suggest you couldnt get a refund by the means of cash. But #6 author pbsteve should have more knowledge on the contracts that are used with Radioshack so I suggest starting off with what this person suggested. All I can say is from what I understand in your claim is someone else has choose to buy the phone from you and refused to cancel the contract that was made not only with Sprint, but didnt cancel the contract with Radioshack since Andrew would not produce a receipt.
 
If this is a proper understanding of the situation, do what pbsteve has stated and if Radioshack does not correct the issue to you, you might need to look to a legal advice for further actions. Radioshack might not try to correct this issue and try to leave you with the bill or you might believe they owe you more for the problem their employee did.

You need to contact the District manager right away on this one.  I used to work for the company, and the associate essentially bought your phone from you, rather than returning it like they should have.  You have 14 days to cancel your sprint account, but 30 days to get your money back for the equipment from radioshack. 

They never should have said you couldn't get your money back, and it sounds like Andrew took advantage of you, and needs to be fired.

You are sadly mistaken mam, your correct that the radioshack trade in program gives you gift cards for trade-ins. but that employee did you a favor after all you did ask him for cash knowing that radioshack does not give cash they give gift cards! the employee had to put another phone on your account in ordder to be able to use the phone, then he would put your phone on his account, then last but not least he would have then closed your account out with sprint. which may i add may take several hours to do! so all this being said you fradulated having a brain hahahahaha

My only question besides where did you get that fine edumication that you possess, is did the lightbulb ever click in your head saying hmmm this just doesn't sound legit? I have never been to any major retailer where they wouldn't give me a real reciept back from the register bearing all the information for the transaction and where I wouldn't have to sign something saying that I had recieved my money back, my card had been credited etc. You were simply an easy target and you got handled by someone who knew what they were doing. Easy way to fix that is to make him call Sprint in front of you and cancel the account, then obtain a reciept showing that the item has been returned (hang on to that reciept because if a situation like this occurs thats your only proof) and then call sprint and double check and verify everything has been done. All he did was simply switch his white one onto your account because of many possible reasons (broken, bad battery, water damage etc.) and then put your working black one on his account to remedy his situation. Unfortunatly situations like this occur everyday with any retailer and although a lot falls on the retailer, a great portion also falls on the customer to be vigiliant as well and ensure that everything is handled properly and you have recieved satisfactory service.
