I can HONESTLY say that eventhough I never purchased a package through this company I worked there for five years and have never, ever, seen the abuse they put these innocent people through.

They have no guilt in their practices they are all scum bags from Jim Verillo (president) to Robbyn Walters (Dir. of Customer Care) to Todd Centeio (Dir. of Reservations) and all the little people they step on from middle management down to the people that throw the garbage out.

Rhonda Gaspa...whatever HR DIR is a heartless, souless, evilest of evil old hag that has no concious and honestly I wonder how she can bear to look at her self in the mirror and call herself human, after she helps organize demotions (to encourage resignation so RPR isn't obligated to pay unemployment) and encourages tactics and evil ways to make employees feel ashamed, embarassed, and needless to say disencouraged to go to work on a daily basis.

I too was scamed, for five years hated my jobs as I was transferred from every position thinkable within the company and excelling at all of them, only to find back stabbing, deceiving, and lying at every door that I passed through.

Robbyn Walters the flaming d**e that has now found love in a man again that forced me to lie, cheat, and deceive people for money is truly the worst of the worse.

I recently made a big ticket item purchase and got a free vacation with the deal, will you believe it if I told you that RPR was behind that vacation too, HA!

They are everywhere in the telemarketing industry and IT HAS GOT TO STOP.

I KNOW EVERYTHING about the company and will help anyone get out of a purchase, which no matter what they say and how long it has been since the transaction it can be canceled it the right steps are taken.

I haven't however taken the vacation yet but would like to have my money returned. You said you knew how to do this. Can you please help. I am on a small budget and cannot afford to lose this kind of money on a scam.

Thanks for your assisting those of us who are in need of help on this matter. I am interested to know what steps I can take. I have already sent two faxes to Dan Lambert and one to Leslie Maynard within a week period. I have not received responses. Is there anything else I can do in the meantime?

I, too, went on the hell trip (Feb 2002) - and came back determined and angry to get back the money I wasted!

I sent a lengthy rip-off report (which is posted on this site) to my Attny General Richard Blumenthal and the Commissioner of the Florida Department of Consumer Services Mr Charles H Bronson and, of course, Ramada Plaza Resorts.

I did get $1200 which is better than nothing!!! They refunded me the initial trip charges of $598 per person. I am thrilled and have been sharing the information and hopefully you can have the same luck I did. Hey - I got this all done within a MONTH!

I want more than anything for this company to be taken down. I am hoping that the more of us that right these agencies - the better chance we have of them being disposed of.

Ramada Plaza Resorts victims...

After reading all these reports, and Scott's comments on Ramada, I also was contacted by phone, and by mail, by these people. I work for the US Postal Service, so I got in touch with the Postal Inpection Service, for the Ft Lauderdale- Miami area. I am sending a copy of the mailing to one of the inspectors, and suggest that anyone wanting to have this scam investigated do the same.

What Steps Should I Take?

Scott-
I just recently learned of this scam when I tried to re-sell the package on ebay to try to re-coop some of the money (I believed it to be real until another victim e-mailed me regarding the auction and her struggle to get a refund). Since I have no desire to Scam anyone else, I cancelled the auction! I am hoping that you could let me know what you are suggesting to others to get a refund, if that's possible. I feel like a complete idiot for falling for this. I had just lost my job of 20 years due to downsizing and thought I was getting a real bargain-doh! Can you give me some advice?

please help me get a refund. We are supposed to go on this ripoff of a trip on July 17th. We have put in close to 1500.00 and we just found out what a joke it is. If you can respond quickly so I can act quickly it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Dear Scott, I have just read your report saying youare an ex-employee and you know how I can get my money back. I was presured over the phone, un-able to contact my husband or I would lose my trip, lied to by Tom White ID#0084 when my trip was sold to me, I have been refused a refund by the company, and caprice ID#4044, hung-up on my while trying to receive information. i cannot aford to be out the $1000.00can, that this has cost me alresdy and I can't afford a lawyer. I have read that if you contact the attorny generals office, they will help, but I'm from canada, and have no address at which to contact them. Please reply and give me any information you can on how to get my money back.
