Randall Benton - Tribeca Partners ripoff Do not work for this company he'll refuse to pay more than roughly 10% of invoice Atlanta Georgia

Fool me twice, shame on me. I did a web site job for Tribeca 2 years ago, and when I submitted the bill Mr. Benton argued me from $1500 to $750.

This past year, he contacted me about making some basic edits to his site, which I quoted at $300. When I started the project I learned that the original site files were gone...lost in a sever crash at his host company. I communicated that I would need to rebuild the site, and that the cost would increase quite a bit. Mr. Benton used this opportunity to completely redesign his site to the tune of $3000.

When I submitted my invoice he had a fit...claimed ignorance of the additional charges, and refused to pay more than the original $300. "That's all I budgeted for this project' is what he said. This, from a guy who has LOTS of $$.

After bickering about it, he wound up "out of the kindness of his heart" sending me $450. I had $1200 in outside costs alone. So I paid $750 to design his web site.

The kicker is, he contacted me again about other work...3 times? Not a chance. So beware when dealing wit Tribeca Partners and Mr. Benton. To him, its all a game to see what he can get over on you.
