I didn't even realize anything had happened until I tried to use my credit card. It's December 26 @ midnight & I'm trying to take advantage of "post Christmas" sales via the Internet. My 1st purchase went through & the 2 after that said my credit card was declined! I immediately called them & they told me about a purchase of $129 plus. I said that I didn't authorize a purchase for that amount. The operator told me the charge was for "Real Gold Soft." I said that I had not purchased any gold & looked up Real Gold Soft on the Internet. That's when "Ripoff Report" popped up. I knew I had been had & the Credit Card Operator recommended that I cancel my card & I'll be receiving a "Rebuttal" form in the mail. Thank you every one very much for filing your reports, otherwise I may not have known I was scammed for a while. I would like to know how to remove the "Security Tool" Icon & program off of my computer if anyone has any answers. I followed the instructions from "Real Gold Softs Online Support Center - User Guide" & guess what? It didn't work. Frustrated!

*HELP - Can anyone tell me how to REMOVE "Security Tool" from my computer?

AUTHOR: shelly - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, December 26, 2009

I'm soo upset & don't know what to do.  I've tried everything I know how to do & CAN'T remove the security system from my computer!  I've tried to delete it, remove it, send it to the recycle bin & nothing works.  When I first turn on my Computer, everything looks fine.  All my old Icons are on my computer screen & then the screen turns completely blue & the nightmare begins again!  Security Tool tells me I have multiple trojans & viruses & asks me if I want them to remove them.  I keep saying "no" & it will ask if I'm sure.  I click on "yes" & it starts to tell me about the multiple trojans & viruses again.  It's a viscious cycle - I can't get out of it!  I did get a hold of the billing department to cancel my subscription (1-800-507-4599) & I am supposed to be credited the full amount.  (Although I don't know how that's going to work because I cancelled my credit card.)  The billing department gave me the website of "securitysystemsite.com" so I went there to try to figure out how to remove them from my computer, but it was just a general web site for a bunch of Security Systems.  So if anyone has any advice, PLEASE PLEASE let me know.  Thanks.
