ReefScavengers.com Reef Scavengers Dishonest or poor service? Took my money and ran. Internet

I first ordered from Reef Scavengers in June of 08 off of ebay. I never received a shipping notice, and when I tried to get in touch with them through ebay, ebay had closed the store down. So I tracked them down via the web and emailed orders@reefscavengers.com but never got a response. So I opened a dispute with paypal which they responded to and apologized profusely and sent my order a week later. I was forgiving because I didn't know the circumstances as to why ebay closed them ad figured that things just got crazy. The order arrived late but fine so I was okay.

I then ordered again in August of 08, this time directly from their website. I waited 9 days and when I didn't receive the order or a confirmation, I asked what happened. Reef Scavengers didn't give a reason, just said they were sorry and it would ship the next week. Then their website reefscavengers.com said they wouldn't be shipping that week because of hurricane Fay, so I waited. Another week passes, and I sent a message asking if they knew when Reef Scavengers would resume shipping after the hurricane since it had passed. I try to be patient, wait another week and emailed for an update. No response. so I wait another few days, and ask to please cancel my order and send a refund. No response.

Eventually after still not getting a response I tried to dispute the claim but unlike a credit card transaction, too much time had passed. I tried to be patient and understanding and they strung me along until I had no recourse.

 I don't know if they just had horrible service or are a bunch of scam artists but they never shipped the second time and didn't seem to care one bit that they literally stole my money.
