On Mar 31, 2018 I ordered a free sample wrinkle remover cream plus a shipping charge of $4.99.  I also order a discounted second product for $4.95.

When I viewed my credit card statement, there was yet another charge in the amount of $24.99.  I thought, well, wife is recovering from surgery - spoil her and just pay the total thing.  On April 14, there was yet another charge for $89.92.

I called the company (after doing a lot of googling to get the number) and spoke with a Macey.  After 10 minutes of haggling about a reduced price and finally getting rude with her was when she gave me the address to return the items.  This was a Saturday so on Monday I once again looked online at their site...sure enough.  A different address so I called again.  Was told the address in Orlando was the correct address as I was dealing with a contract company who worked for several different companies in that area.  So, on Monday, April 16, I mailed the package.

On April 21st, I went to the USPS.COM website to track my package where I was advised the addressee could not be located.  On Tuesday, April 24th, I found some unexplainable garbage on the USPS website so again called the Regenere representatives in or near Orlando.  I was given the sales pitch all over again and argued with this lady on the phone before I finally asked for a supervisor who's name was Ashley and sounded like the first person I had spoken with.

Ashley claimed to be the floor supervisor and again asked my name and zip code, etc.  She found my returned package (to my great surprise), and said she could issue a refund.  I asked if this refund covered the 3 charges on March 31st AND on April 14th.  Her reply was that, yes; however, there was a restocking fee.  Turns out that I was initially billed $34.85 on March 31 for the 3 products as the original "free" product was for a  free trial and after two weeks that "free" turned into the $89.92 charge on April 14th totalling $124.85.  After their "restocking fees" I was refunded $79.97 constituting a $44.88 loss on products we didn't even open.  But, that loss was well worth it for all the aggravation these "artists" put me through.  I'm happy to have at least gotten something back.  Somebody there is going to have to pay up with Someone above some day.  I doubt it'll be a pretty sight.

For anyone interested in buying their products, be sure to read the very fine print...use a magnifying glass as my 24" monitor wasn't big enough.  If you find you don't like the product, make sure to contact the company within the 14 days from your order date.  I don't know if that will help or not as far as the $89.92 charge is concerned.  I feel like I got "took" trying to purchase a product that had good reviews (trueful? I don't know).  Lesson learned:  Don't buy something for your spouse unless it's a refill or something she specifically asked for.  Only two things can happen:  She won't like it or your going to get burned by the seller.  In my case, she didn't get to try it, and I got "burned" for $44.88 plus postage.

Additional Refund

AUTHOR: Joel - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, April 28, 2018

A day or two after filing the initial report, there was another credit from this company returned to my credit card in the amount of $24.99.  Now our loss for their restocking fees has been reduced from $44.88 to $19.89.  This was their charge for restocking 3 items that only cost $4 and change to mail to them.  This $24.99 was totally unexpected, but we'll accept it.  It's getting a little better, but, this would not have happened at all if the fine print was so fine as to not be easily seen.
