Signed a one year agreement with Regus, the experience was horrible. They often try to scam you out of money by adding abnormal fees and overcharges in your bills, from parking you never used to "overusage" of internet even if you are in an unlimited plan. Out of the 12 months, i had to get my bill corrected an stonishing 8 times.

The biggest scam however is they provide you with a one page "agreement" noting your lease time and base amount due each month but what they don't tell you is that once you sign up to use their internet they make you agree to their terms and conditions which apparently includes an auto-renewal clause they never let you know in any stage of your negotiation.

I spoke with Charles (The manager in the Oppenheimer Tower Regus in Westwood, CA) and let him know of my intentions to leave the office at the end of my term and to inquire of the process to receive my $2000 deposit because i moved to a new house and the commute to Westwood was a nightmare. He then offered me a shorter 3 month, term to which i said i wasn't interested in.

Charles let me know there was no problem that by the end of October 2014 i was all done with my responsabilities and i could recoup my deposit then (Not once during this time he asked me for a written notice or let me know of any autorenewals). I paid for the month of October to fulfill my responsability even though i did not use the office at all. I stopped by 2 weeks before the end of October to discuss with him specifics on how to receive my deposit but was greeted by his secretary with the news he was on medical leave for 6 to 8 weeks. I informed her of my situation to what she said replied letting me know that i was actually due for another year of contract with them because of autorenewal.

That was the first time they mentioned this to me, she said there is nothing she can do and gave me the number of the temporary supervisor "Jennifer", i called Jennifer 3 days in a row to no luck, left voice messages on her phone and with her secretary but never got a call back. Tried calling Regus corporate but you are always greeted by an answering machine, left messages in 4 different occasions and to this date have not received a call back from the legal or HR departments.

The only time i got to speak with anyone from Regus was when i talked to a sales rep, the only line that ever works there is when they want to sell you office space, go figure. I asked for the name of the district manager, they gave me his name and number "Josh", called him numerous times but never received a call back either.

Had to call back my office to get Jennifer's email, after a day i received a reply saying that i was indeed up for another year with them and that if i wanted i could only negotiate a different office that was closer to me. I cced Chuck in the emails in hope of him to reply and let them know i had discussed this with him and i was clear but he never replied and he never replied. After the conversation got a bit hostile Jennifer finally decided to call and let me know that i couldn't talk to her like that and that she didn't know what Chuck did and that she was only "trying" to help me so my credit is not ruined.

I have tried to contact every department from the Regus office to no luck or simply getting the "sorry nothing i can do" answer and kick in the back. Subsequently Chuck was conveniently moved from his position and a new manager that "has nothing to do with the past" was appointed to the Westwood location so i was never able to get in touch with Charles (Chuck).

Today i received a letter from a collection company for twice the emount of what a year worth of office space is worth and noone to discuss anything with a Regus, be aware of this company!
