I replied to a craigslist rental ad and was directed to buy a background check at rentalverified.com and later found out I was sent a mass email and the home does not exist.

Good Morning Jo,

I greatly appreciate asking about my 3 bedrooms 3.0 baths home for rent.

The are tons reasons to visit this rental. It is neatly kept and the kitchen is beautiful. The closets are big, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the windows are designed to let in an abundance of natural light.

To rent our home we require the following:

1. Lease Agreement (month to month, 6 months, or 1 year)

2. Background check for each applicant

3. Valid Driver's License or Picture ID

4. 1st months rent

Background checks can be done online using Rental Verified: link.

If you have a felony or a few mistakes on your rental history, don't worry, I am willing to be flexible with you.

This rental has not had any prior pets but accepts pets. It is free of smells or stains. We do not have any breed restrictions and we do not charge a fee or require a deposit.

Should your pet(s) cause damage to the rental, it's your responsibility to make all the needed repairs.

I'll bring the rental agreement with me to the viewing. I also do require background checks to be completed by all my applicants.

Once you have finished your background check and are ready to setup a walk thru, contact me. It will be in a .pdf file and you can print it and bring to the showing or email it to me.

I would like to be able to contact you when you have time. What's the best phone number to contact you on?

I will be available tomorrow, Sunday, and my availability can change daily, and my availability changes daily. Can you think of a time that might work?
