I have read the reports from TX, MS and Tampa, FL. and they tell my same experiences with REO Property Solutions and Gary Dambach. (ie. verbal agreements but in my case supported by email correspondence to/from them, access to First American to input information, promises about payment after invoices were processed, promises that they had mailed checks, etc.)

I responded to an ad on Craigslist in late November 2008 and began providing services thru REO Solutions to First American during December 2008 and January 2009. I have since spoken to associates at First American Field Services. While they have a company policy that all vendors must pay their subcontracts (per their published corporate documents), they are not so inclined to assist with ensuring that payments are actually made by contractors to their subs.

We were promised payment after 30 days and began questioning the timing of payments after that time had transpired. We submitted regular timely invoices to REO Property Solutions for all of the work performed and for the materials that we expended funds for. The invoices were never questioned when submitted and we were led to believe that they had actually mailed a check for payment at one point in time but the check never arrived. Then we got the run around about REO wanting to pay us via direct deposit which was too fishy given everything that had transpired up to that point.

Now (three months later), we are getting calls from Gary telling us that payments may be smaller than originally agreed to and wanting to review each invoice...even though he had already promised to make full payment.

I did find out that while REO Property Solutions has been doing business in FL, they are not registered with the state as a resident or non-resident corporation. The company is registered in Pennsylvania as of 1/30/9 but nothing shows that they were registered prior to that time. The registered address is posted on the state website but the owner of the property at that address is not Gary Dambach. No information is available about the ownership of REO Property Solutions on any public websites.

We are owed +$8000.
