Rickenbacker Collection Agency lie,lie,lie Gilroy California

This collection agency isn't too professional if they have to lie to get paid. We spoke with the "Manager" Toni she reassured my father that a collection account which was on his credit report would be taken off as soon as the account payment posted for $800.00. The bill was for a car that my father had sold and the new owner never changed title at the DMV and the car was towed.I questioned what Toni had said because I also just started doing home loans and thought they couldn't take off the collection from the credit report the same day.

Later that day I called to speak with Toni, she turned me over to Anthony which I asked him how he would get that taken off so fast, and he said "as soon as the account post I will call the 3 bureaus and get the account completly removed myself by faxing the reciept to them and I said are you sure and he says "I will get that done by tommorrow call me @10am". So we gave the payment it sound so true. I explained to him my dad was trying to get a loan done but he would hold off till the next day so he {Anthony}could get that cleared up and Anthony says "I will do that as soon as that payment has posted.

When I called the next day @ 10am Anthony says "call back a noon and I will get that done". Anthony had also told me he would fax me a paid reciept the same day of payment posting. So I then call at noon and Anthony and Toni where either busy or just stepped out. Then they turned us over to a different person who I explained what was said to us and he said "there must have been some missunderstanding no one in our office would have told you that" and I said even the manager said it would get cleared today and he says "Im not going to play he said she said and that we would have to wait 60 maybe 90 days". And the reciept would take up to 9 days they would not fax anything.

In all cases everybody was dishonest so Please,Please be very careful when dealing with this company!!!
