 After requesting price on a specific car, even providing the stock and vin number, I received an email and text messaging giving me the price for the car. I was pleased with the price so I called Christian Pruitt to make sure this was really the price and that there would be no suprises once I arrived at the dealership. She assured me there would be no suprises and that the price she told me was accurate. I explained that I lived an hour a way and again she assured me of the price. Upon arrival, we worked with veronica and she was very nice and helpful. She had taken the paperwork to the office behind the glass and the manager there came out and wanted to see the email and text so I showed him. He also assured me of the price but had to check the rebates. I explained I was going to leave to take my youngest daughter to driving school and was leaving my husband and oldest daughter ther to purchase the car then drive it home. 15 minutes later my husband called me to come get him because the price went from around 20,400 to 25,000. I could not come back immediately so he had to wait and then the manager came out with a price of 23,000. That was still way off. We had just bought an Elantra from another dealership the week before for our youngest daughter and paid 22,780. They said they would beat that price but needed to see the invoice. My husband was so furious at the things he was told that he and my older daughter walked out of the dealership and waited for my return, 1.5 hrs later. He was told that the car was not the same as the one we bought the week before, Veronica confirmed it had all the same equipment. Identical except in color. He said it was an Ultimate Limited model, whatever that is. Very dissappointed and a huge waste of time not to mention the stress of it all. I will be vocal about Ron Carter being without integrity.
