BUYER BEWARE!!!! Purchased Extended warranty through credit union as part of loan on used CAN-AM Spyder. Asked at time of purchase does it cover such unique power sport vehicle. “SURE NP” What a mistake, unit has a DPS (DYNAMIC POWER STEERING) failure and because the contract doesn't state exact named coverage, Route 66 will not even consider. "ITS NOT ON THE LIST” Sorry!

Well that sorry is going to cost me over $1700.00 on repair plus the $1000.00 on the cost of the warranty, to add insult to injury, upon cancellation the credit union will put refund towards principle. We are not mechanics and can only rely on salespeople and the lender to offer the best possible coverage available. DON'T EVER CONSIDER ROUTE 66.  DONT EVER BUY A LISTED COVERAGE CONTRACT!!!!

Route 66 Extended Warranty Looking at online reviews, the most common reason for not covering is: “SORRY, ITS NOT ON THE LIST”! Even for their most expensive top of the line coverage the Deluxe Coverage “SORRY, ITS NOT ON THE LIST”. The internal component of the engine drive shaft, “SORRY, ITS NOT ON THE LIST”. Please do not buy this coverage you will be disappointed. I have called the credit unions where I bought this coverage $2700.00. They are telling me they have many complaints…. Route 66 is a scam. Route 66 Extended Warranty They may not pay for up to 24 hours which will cause you to be without a vehicle until your mechanic is paid. This was on my truck. I also had a warranty on a car I bought. The transmission went out 2 weeks after I bought it and they would not cover it. I had them to refund the cost of the warranty and got it fixed myself. In my opinion this is not worth having. They did finally pay for the truck repairs after a nasty phone call from me. don't be fooled by them. They will only pay what they want to pay and you may be left to pay the rest out of pocket.
