I purchased what I thought was a software program to repair my drivers.  It was called DriverCure. What appeared to be a legit service called Safecart somehow is involved and through my own Paypal account scammed me in making recurring payments whcih I knew nothing about.

The program failed to work at all.  When I realized whawt had happened in my Paypal account immediately canceled the transactions and stopped recurring payment, but soon realized funds were being deducted straight from my bank account without even going through Paypay.

I went to the bank today and they verified the company is taking funds directly out of my account.  This is major fraud and I knew nothing about it because they make everything look completely legit and legal.  They are top notch scam artists and need to be stopped.

ParetoLogic and SafeCart billing

AUTHOR: Pareto rep - (Canada)

POSTED: Monday, April 11, 2011

Hello,

There may be some misunderstanding regarding where these transactions are coming from. ParetoLogic and our payment processors, SafeCart, do offer Automatic Renewals. This is an option that is presented in the checkout process, and can be selected or deselected.

Automatic renewals help users when their program expires, typically after one year, by offering a hands-free way to renew their license. Note that this will not occur earlier than one year, and will always be preceded by a number of emails, confirming the fact.

Our aim is to assist in renewing your software, and your financial details are kept in the strictest confidence.

Plus, withdrawal, if approved, will only be made from the original account (Paypal, in this case).

I would suggest that you contact SafeCart, or ParetoLogic support, to confirm that your account has been cancelled.

Next, contact your bank, and find out the exact name of the company that is withdrawing the funds from your account.

ParetoLogic is a legitimate business, and a respected member of the BBB. We will not abuse your financial information, and we take matters such as this very seriously. Please contact one of the support numbers above A.S.A.P., to confirm this, and so that we may assist in resolving this issue.

Thank you.
