SAFECART charged more than the agreed upon price for service. also passed along hidde charges to which I was not aware of. Florida

Needing what I thought, a quick fix on my computer and its sluggishness, I found this company on the web pages.  Initially I spoke with someone who identified my problems and gave me an initial price of $29.95 just to identify my problems...when he advised me I had MAL WARE, he strongly suggested I get passed along to a technician who would for an outrageous price would take care of my computer and its problems.  I went  and forth, haggling about price...each time, he advised me he would be back on-line after talking with 'his supervisor' to get a reduction.  Twice, we went through this process and finally was promised a life-time contract and immediate care for $350. to which I reluctantly agreed to.  The PANDA program is a joke and did NOT do everything they promised it would take care of.  To ad insult to injury I received my CAPITOL ONE bill at the end of the cycle (Aug. 8th..this year), and they placed charges of $244. and $300 respectively.  Today, 26 Aug., I received  a notification via my e-mail, they were now, because of a subscription service to which I DID NOT ask for nor was advised of, billing me for another $14.99.  I WAS TAKEN FOR A FANCY RIDE AND HAVE YET TO SHAKE ALL OF THEIR OWN BUGS OFF OF ME.  I strongly urge anyone who is remotely considering this company to STAY AWAY and BEWARE.  Go to a person to person site i.e., BEST BUY and do your business with them instead.  NEVER deal with someone you cannot see.  I have learned a life long lesson and I am no kid.  Hope this helps someone.

Here is the final update to what began as a total nightmare.  Checking my credit postings this early p.m., it has been noted that SAFECART came through as promised; a grand total of $544 and change PLUS the two months of billing that were for 'monthly update service'...(?).  A lesson here...if you need services for your computer...go to an eyes-on-eyes business; stay away from the telephone.  Understand and make sure the services/charges are agreed on both parties.  Sure hope this helps someone else.  Thanks RIPOFF REPORT...YOU'RE THE BEST !

I suspect that SAFECART was forwarded a copy of my initial report regarding the shabby handling of transaction amount(s) between the aforementioned computer repair services and myself.  Promptly in the email they sent me, SAFECART assured me that per my phone call to them, they would, in turn credit me, via my credit card, any and all transaction amounts!  Quite skeptical, I placed a call to their posted number and behold, within a matter of 2 minutes, I was notified that my amounts would indeed credited BACK TO ME.  No questions and no hassles either.  I must say as dark as the initial transaction was with the computer services organization.....this final engagement was bright as the noon sun.  Kudos to SAFECART understanding the problem and taking the steps to see the reimbursement process as a credible step.  Now, understand this, that as of 9/6/2014...I have not had the postings take place on my credit card..and I will update this as soon as I have those figures under MY belt.  Stand by.
