My daughter just completed her last class at Keiser University here in Sarasota Florida. She has been told byKeiser University that she may walk for graduation in May, but will not receive her degree until she gives the University another $1500. She was attending a two year program for Medical Assistant.While in this program, we paid out over $5,500 in loans, scholarships and out of pocket cash...She is now $30,000 plus in debt to Sallie Mae, who says she has 10 loans. My daughter got behind in payments and now it is almost impossible to speak to anyone at Sallie Mae willing to help deferr and consolidate these loans. I called and asked what the bottom line was to get her account current and was told $450. So I paid it ,two days later after the payment posted I called back to get forbearance paperwork and was told they needed another $94.20, so I paid that too.

Afew days later I called once more to see about getting the forbearance for the other loans...They said I needed to pay $195.00 more which included an $80 late fee...The guy said he would wave the $80 for now, so I paid $115.31...Yesterday I called and they said they need another $323...What Gives???Obvoiusly me!!! My daughter suppossedly was 4 months behind...Tell me???
