Got a phone call from them, the man on the phone asked for someone I don't even know, he just mentioned a name (fishing). By searching the Internet, I've found that the company is a collector's agency that runs scams. My phone is in the "do not call registry" plus the man who called didn't identify himself. Watch out because they just call randomly to see if they get lucky!!!

Fishing not phishing

AUTHOR: Kogumasan - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, August 19, 2011

I called it fishing, because they just call trying to see if they get lucky, and maybe the person on the other end has the name they're mentioning (John, James, Robert, Michael, Mary, Linda, Patricia, Barbara, etc); the main clue is that they just mention a name without last name, when you tell them there's nobody with that name at that phone number, they give you a popular last name (Smith, Jones, etc), if by any chance you're name or someone that you know, has that name, that's when it turns into phishing...

Just another scam collector

I'm assuming you're new here and haven't read the hundreds of reports on these companies, most from India. By the way it's spelled phishing not fishing.
