On 10/31/19 santanderbank of boston ma blocked my checking account. i have no access to my money. i canot pay my rent or any expenses food drinks. i cannot support myself. they will not unblock my account. i have sent santander bank of boston ma several emails.

and i have emailed the corporate office with no respnse. the corporate office called my cell phone left a message saying they are investigating. what are they investigating, they have stolen my money it is bank fraud. i contacted consumer services of boston ma and no one will help me.this is illegal and yet no one will help me.

i do not know where to turn or what to do. my disabilty check has been deposited into my checking account along with my pension and yet i cannot access my money. banks should never be allowed to do this and yet they do. i need a lawyer to represent me because i do want to sue santander bank of boston ma.

i also need to contact the police department or have the boston police department contact me or since i live in las vegas nv perhaps the las vegas police can contact me because what santander bank has done is a criminal act and they need to be arrested. since the ceo of santander bank scott powell has not responded to me he needs to be arrested also.

This is your issue..

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 05, 2019

Your situation does not match your comments. As others have stated the wife of a Corporate Attorney is NOT going to be living in an Apartment,  needing to rely on a Disability Check to be able to pay for Food and Rent. So when you start putting out things that are obviously false, it puts the creditiblity of your report into question.

It is unlikely you called the police, as again they would be telling you it is a CIVIL matter. Yet you still seem to think that they are going to assist you. Any attorney you may have talked to again would have told you it is a CIVIL matter. Now, they also may say they are willing to assist you, but as others have said it is just as likely that they are really looking to just take further advantage of you. Especially if they start asking for money up front.

Now back to your orignal complaint

i contacted consumer services of boston ma and no one will help me.this is illegal and yet no one will help me.
- Because contrary to what you believe..there is no evidence of anything illegal going on.

i do not know where to turn or what to do.
- Others have given you advice.  But in reality, this is the hazards of keeping an account at a bank you have no branch you can visit face-to-face.  As if you did you could go down to the branch and sit down with them
until they gave you an answer.  Over the phone, if there is fraud, they really have no idea if you are who you say you are. Since you are remote you just need to keep CALLING them during their regular hours...emails will do absolutly NOTHING.

Now, why did your account get frozen...only the bank knows for sure, but it is likely have at least an idea that you are not disclosing.   They obviously saw something in either your usage, or history that has caused them to freeze your account.

This could be things such as them suspecting possible fraud. It could be your history such as multiple overdrafts or perhaps other disputes you have had over transactions. You can say that you have a perfect history with them, and have never had a complaint. Yet, banks do not just randomly start to close out accounts for no reason...so there is likely something you are not posting.

By the way it's been almost a week..what is the status? Have you continued to try and contact them or are you just talking to everyone else who has no power to assist you?

Hogwash

AUTHOR: coast - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, November 04, 2019

It is highly unlikely that the wife of a corporate attorney relies on a disability income to obtain food and beverage.

Your husband certainly would have informed you that notifying the police would be pointless because this is a civil case not a criminal case.

Now that we’ve unwrapped the BS, tell us the rest of the story.

Please Stop....

AUTHOR: Jim - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, November 04, 2019

Look, the CEO isn't going to help you or respond to you.  That's not his job.  This site is not going to hire a lawyer for you - you need to do that yourself.  The police aren't going to do anything because there's no crime that's been committed.

Finally, you need to stop emailing people because the money is not stolen.  Now, something else has happened - and you need to get to a bank to figure this out.  Stop trying to throw people in jail.  Sheesh - somebody does something wrong and they have to go to jail?  Just stop....

Also, don't call anyone offering to fix this - you are taking a chance the person you call is not intending to help you; he is going to take advantage of you.  What you need to do is go to the local branch of the bank near you, find out what the problem is, and don't leave until the problem is resolved.  Usually, the problem stems from the fact that someone may have tried to commit fraud against your bank account.  Take your ID with you to prove who you are.

Get off the internet and go see someone who can help you....
