Scepter Balance - J Palm ripoff sold what she called rare collectibles Said there would be a 200 - 300 % profit in 2 years Have held them for nearly 6 years. Can't find her or the company Reno Nevada

Invoice#10460 dated 2/7/2002 from Scepter Balance, Inc, I purchased Colonial Paper Currency issued during the 1700's for $1,800.00 with a $45.00 shipping charge. It came complete with a certificate of authenticity. On 2/22/2002, Invoice #10481, I purchased a James Monroe Land Grant for $3,700.00 plus $45.00 shipping charge, On 5/2/2003, invoice #10868, I purchased a Calvin Coolidge Original Presidential Postmaster Apt. personally signed by President Coolidge for $3,600.00 plus $45.00 shipping charge.

All of these "Rare Collectibles" were purchased from B J Palm with a Certificate of Authenticity. Signed and dated as Unique, Historical Documents & Autographs Scepter Balance (800)615-0231. B J Palm has also been contacted with the following telephone numbers (775)887-0707 & (775)841-7600 & (800)598-2909. B J Palm said I would receive between 200 - 300% in 18 - 24 months. She informed me that I could not hold on to any piece for more than that and also I could not have more than three of these collectibles at any one time.

I last contacted her on or around Nov-Dec 2005 and she informed me that there had been so many catastrophes that has prevented them from having an auction such as 911, london bombings etc. but that there would definately be an auction in March of 2006. I expressed many concerns to her because I had held on to them for so long and she assured me that even if Scepter Balance went out of business my pieces were in the system for the auction that would definately take place and my profits would be realized. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact her or the company
